We are happy to announce the launch of the 4th edition of Youth Co:Lab India!
We strongly believe that youth entrepreneurship is a game-changer that can make an equitable and sustainable future by leveraging innovation to accelerate the implementation of the SDGs in India.
Youth Co:lab, co-created in 2017 by UNDP Asia and the Pacific and Citi Foundation is a multi-dimensional and multi-level response to tackle the challenges young people face by positioning youth front and center to find solutions to today’s most pressing problems. Youth Co:Lab was launched in India in 2019 by UNDP in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog. In 2021, Youth Co:Lab India will focus on youth-led innovation for “climate action and accelerating green recovery”, encouraging young innovators (aged 18 to 29 years) to tackle the urgency of the climate change crisis and building resilience for our most precious ecosystems and vulnerable communities.
Youth Co:Lab provides a conducive ecosystem for youth led-innovations to nurture, where the shortlisted young innovators will be selected for the Springboard program which provides curricula support, mentorship, access to networks and the Multi Stakeholder Alliance with the best solutions being showcased in our Demo Day and National Innovation Dialogue. The winners of the Demo day will represent India in the Asia-Pacific Youth Summit and will be eligible for the Regional Springboard Program.
