WEkEO 4 Forest Monitoring 2024
WEkEO is the EU Copernicus DIAS reference service for environmental data, virtual processing environments and skilled user support. A platform for all audiences. – Harmonised Data Access, Use WEkEO’s REST-based single protocol to scale and evolve your code, easily integrating all data sources from a virutal station, a Jupyter Notebook or a desktop application of your choice, and using homogeneous subsetting attributes. – Cloud infrastructure Benefit from a distributed infrastructure connected by an ultra high-speed backbone, and from the cloud-based hosted processing with tools. – Expert User Support Expert support is always at your service, under all WEkEO plans.
Workshop Summary
This 2-day workshop is designed to enhance participant engagement and provide comprehensive demonstrations. The workshop will focus on forest monitoring and land use, as well as land use change monitoring.
On the first day, multiple WEkEO use cases will be presented to demonstrate real-world applications and facilitate exchanges between participants and experts.
A practical session (Day 2) will be dedicated to live demonstrations of the use of the data using:
- Jupyter Notebooks,
- QGIS software,
- R Studio.
