Neev ki Eent Foundation was founded by a group of like-minded individuals committed towards societal development. The organization derives its philosophy from the essay of the celebrated writer of Hindi language, Late Shri Rambriksh Benipuri, by the same name – “Neev ki Eent”.

Utthan Fellowship Program – Join the Journey of Development
Neev ki Eent Foundation is hiring 05 Utthan Mitra for the first cohort of Utthan Fellowship Program, with 0-2 years of experience to Program Manage our Swabhiman Fellowship strategy, align with key stakeholders, manage day-to-day operations of our ongoing Fellowship Program at Rohtas, Bihar and ensure sustainable growth.
Project Swabhimaan: Making a difference in Bihar
Project Swabhimaan is a collaborative effort of the Neev ki Eent Foundation and District Administration, Rohtas, Bihar to ensure the following:
The laborers working at select brick kilns of Rohtas, Bihar are included in the mainstream of the society.
We intend to do this by
Identifying the gaps in the critical documentation needed for their formal inclusion.
Liaison with concerned departments of the district administration to mitigate those gaps.
Continuous follow ups to ensure capacity building of these labors to be able to self-advocate for their rights and entitlements in the future.
The children of the laborers working at brick kilns are imparted the FLN Skills with an objective of making them school ready.
Swabhimaan Fellowship: Empowering Rural Youth
Swabhimaan Fellowship was launched in October 2022 with an objective of focussing the attention of young professionals from rural India towards ensuring social security right of labors, specifically working at the select brick kilns of Rohtas, Bihar. It is the only fellowship which harnesses the potential of rural youth from the country and gives them the opportunity to become a part of the problem identification and solving mechanism with a significant role to play in the execution of the solution.
Our strategy was to open their worldview, understanding and exposure to labor’s issues. In addition, we now have one other fellowship targeted to very different audiences.
Utthan Fellowship Role – Be a friend of development
This fellowship is about recognizing and addressing the gap of opportunity and exposure to the building and other Construction Workers (BOCW) in India. We aim to unleash a new generation of youth innovators and leaders with the character and competence to build a more just, inclusive, and sustainable world.
The selected fellows will be known as Utthan Mitra – ‘the friends of the society who will facilitate the ascend of development’.
About the Role of Utthan Mitra
Each Utthan Mitra will handle a team of 10 Swabimaan Fellows and their geographies of execution.
To support the planning, strategizing, execution, and impact assessment of Project Swabhimaan
Utthan Mitra will be responsible for building interconnections between Swabhimaan Fellow and the Management Team.
The Utthan Mitra will be responsible to steer all the stakeholders through the project implementation process.
Utthan Mitra will be responsible for the on-ground realization of the vision goals and objectives of the Neev ki Eent leadership team.
Accountabilities include:
Manage the day-to-day operations and logistics of running the program.
Handling fellowship related queries on mails and calls
Application screening process
Joining formalities coordination with HR
Manage program delivery and overall coherence of the learning experience.
Coordination and cultivation of a strong facilitator bench, facilitation of certain content blocks in-person and online
Define the program delivery calendar, adjust and adaptations to national surveys and templates, so they respond to the needs of the region.
Collaborate and consult with experts across Neev Ki Eent (e.g., curriculum design, marketing) while making adaptations for context, language, and culture.
Skills and Qualifications: Are you the one we’re looking for?
Educational Qualification: Graduate or postgraduate from an Indian-recognized college or university, in any discipline. Applicants having a degree in Mass Communication, English/Hindi Language, Statistics (Data Science), Education or Rural Development/Rural Management with relevant work experience will be given preference.
The applicant must be very good in documentation, especially writing case studies, project proposals, and making effective and impactful PowerPoint presentations.
Very good understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is necessary.
Age between 21 – 27 years.
Ready to join full-time residential fellowship program in Rohtas, Bihar for a period of (8 + 4) months.
The candidate should know to ride a two-wheeler and must possess a valid driving license issued by the competent authority.
One year of experience, previous experience in soft skills development, capacity building, leadership development, curriculum design or training is a plus.
Strong Program Management, Team Management, and Operations track record.
Experience in managing budget, adapting curriculum in a collaborative fashion, understanding, and describing and reporting our impact.
Fluent in both English and Hindi (ability to speak and write clearly both), regional language will be an added advantage.
Experience in group facilitation, adaptive facilitation, or training with adults (online or in person or both), including some idea of curriculum design. Teaching experience is not considered facilitation experience.
Coaching skills, including the ability to give constructive feedback effectively, and willingness to have difficult, courageous conversations in service of helping others grow.
Exceptional relationship and interpersonal skills: courtesy, tact, candor, empathy, patience, and strong team orientation.
Highly collaborative and able to effectively work cross-functionally.
Display a commitment and passion towards skill/rural development.

Compensation
It is an 8-month residential fellowship program with monthly stipend of INR 15,000.
