India Inc. has quietly crossed a significant milestone of One Lakh Crore of cumulave CSR spend during FY
2019-20. We endeavour to analyse salient inferences from the figures posted by the Ministry.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs vide its notificaton dated February 11, 2022 has introduced the Companies
(Accounts) Amendment Rules, 2022. The Rules provides that every company covered under the provisions of
second 135 (1) of the Companies Act, 2013 shall be required to furnish a report on CSR in form CSR-2 to the
Registrar commencing from the preceding financial year (2020-21) as an addendum to form AOC-4 or AOC-4
XBRL or AOC-4 NBFC (Ind AS) as may be applicable. We will elucidate the key points in filing Form CSR-2 and
also the intent of the ministry in introducing this form.
Form CSR 2 was released by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, GoI, on 11 February 2022. This session by CSR SPARK and LAKSHYAA will help deconstruct it and elaborate on implications, action points by 31 March 2022, and the way forward to ensure compliance with impact.
