Delegates are instrumental in organizing the biggest youth generation in history to make the world a better place. They will act as youth representatives for the UNITE 2030 community, support and connect local grassroots campaigns, amplify youth actions that are creating change, develop tools and programming to support young people everywhere to achieve the Global Goals and accelerate solutions to the SDGs.
The Youth Delegate Program is a 3-month intensive leadership development program for the world’s top young Change-makers who are taking action to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. During the YDP, Delegates connect with like-minded young leaders, strengthen their leadership skills, build their capacity to lead and create sustainable global change, and take action for a better world. Our Delegates are some of the world’s top young Changemakers. Cohort 5 will support 100 leaders from around the world who are taking action globally and locally to support the agenda of the United Nations.

All Youth Delegates, Mentors, and Leads sign our Culture Code, agreeing to meet their program requirements and uphold the core organizational values of UNITE 2030. Delegates should remain ambassadors and advocates for UNITE 2030 in their communities and in their work. Our values are critical and non-negotiable, and we ask that all applicants review them before applying to be a Youth Delegate.
Program fees are necessary to help us offset the costs of running the YDP. The average cost per Delegate per YDP is $446.39 USD. Additionally, program fees generally lead to high levels of personal and time investment into the program, which is required of a peer-to-peer program such as ours.
The average cost per Youth Delegate is $446.39 USD. We have broken down the $450 registration fee into 5 core categories. The full breakdown of program fees can be found here in our Information Pack. For more information about UNITE 2030, our impact, and how we work, check out our impact page.
