Uninhibited Improving the equitable participation of women and girls through safe spaces, MH & SRH information, products, healthcare, and infrastructure.

Uninhibited, an India-based nonprofit, is dedicated to erasing the stigma around menstrual health for the 355 million menstruating women and girls in the country. Our mission is twofold: first, we aim to create safe spaces in marginalised communities, enabling women and girls to fully participate in society, education, and work without the hindrance of menstrual challenges. Second, we are committed to transforming public schools into environments that are more accommodating and supportive of adolescents, particularly girls. Through various
programs, we focus on behavioral change, engaging with stakeholders to ensure a lasting impact. Our work contributes to SDGs 3, 5, and 6.2, and since 2016, we’ve positively impacted 350,000 women and girls in 10 states. Our ambitious goal is to reach 1.5 million in the next 5 years, empowering them to overcome menstrual barriers and make better life choices, ultimately fostering a brighter future.

At Uninhibited we keep our values at the centre of our work and actions. Our culture has a high degree of influence in the way we show up at work as individuals and as a team. Our idea of a great candidate would be someone who feels as strongly about our values as we do.

Our core values are:

  • Empathy
  • Trust
  • Respect
  • Ownership
  • Breaking silences
  • Scaling with impact

Uninhibited’s values and actions are human centered and aims to helping individuals connect themselves to the larger goal and purpose. There is a deliberate intention to create safe spaces, to experiment, innovate and embrace failure. The space cultivates non-judgmental attitude and an environment of radical candor built on the foundations of love.
