MEMS, Microfluidics and Nanoelectronics Lab is a collaborative effort across the departments at BITS- Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. MEMS, Microfluidics & Nanoelectronics (MMNE) lab is working towards realizing futuristic smart sensors and intelligent energy harvesters encompassing various multidisciplinary domains like (but not limited to) Energy Harvesters, Microfluidics, Healthcare and Environment, and Printable and Flexible electronics.

Immediate Opening for ONE positions of Research Fellow (RF) in an Industry (Truenergy Inc.) sponsored project, “Design and development supercapacitor battery hybrid” sponsored under the supervision of Prof. Sanket Goel (PI).

Deserving candidates may be considered for PhD program at BITS-Pilani if he/she meets the requirements of Ph.D. qualification process as per the institute norms (http://www.bitsadmission.com/phmain.aspx). Also, Institute Fellowship will be considered after completion of the project fellowship.

Develop a breadboard proof of concept prototypes using Laser Technology for Supercapacitor and Battey

Create a hybrid battery combining both M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or equivalent Working / Hands-on knowledge in material synthesis, characterization, energy storage. Also Electrochemistry and developing device prototypes

Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month (+27% HRA if applicable)

Duration: 12 months (will be considered for financial support during the remaining PhD duration as per the policy)
