About the Program
IDFC FIRST Bank MBA Scholarship is a need-based scholarship for students with family income of less than 6 lakhs per annum. The purpose of this scholarship is to make post graduate studies in business management accessible to meritorious students who are unable to pursue higher studies due to financial constraints.
Scholarship Details
Eligibility Criteria
- Open for Indian Nationals, residing in India only.
- Gross annual family income from all sources should be less than or equal to ₹6 Lakhs p.a.
- Applicable for students enrolled in first year of the two-year MBA program or its equivalent of the class of 2023.
- Enrolled in any of the MBA colleges mentioned in the attached list.
- The applicant should be no more than 35 years of age on the date of his/her application.
- The applicant must have a valid mobile number linked to Aadhaar card.
Award INR 2,00,000 for two years of full-time MBA studies ( 1 Lakh p.a. subject to T&C)

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Documents Required
Below is the list of documents that need to be uploaded before the final submission of the application form:
01. Admission related documents
- Admission letter (with name of institution, admission year and batch)
- Copy of fee receipt
02. Academic record documents
- Copy of Graduation Mark sheet or Passing certificate
03. Proof of Income (Financial Documents)
- Income certificate issued by a government authority OR the relevant government authority, OR
- Copy of Income Tax Returns (Form 16A), OR
- Copy of Salary Slip
04. Other Documents (If Applicable)
- Disability Certificate
- Sanctioned Loan Letter
- Death Certificate, if there is a death of the sole earning member of the immediate family
- Document of any other scholarships received for pursuing MBA

Q.2 Can MBA students of 2022-23 or previous batch apply for this scholarship?
No. Only students who are enrolled into 1st year of their full-time MBA/PGDM program in the academic year 2023-24 are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Q.3 I want to pursue an MBA through distance education, am I eligible for this scholarship?
No, only full-time MBA students are eligible for this scholarship.
