ZeatGrit is a social impact organisation founded by Saroj, a Chevening scholar, and Nikhit, a doctoral researcher in October 2023. At ZealGrit, our mission is simple yet profound: to enhance the lives of women and girls by granting them access to quality education, essential healthcare services, and the unwavering support of their communities. Position Overview

ZealGrit is looking for Project Associate who is passionate about health and nutrition issues and ready to take on a diverse range of tasks. As an Associate with ZealGrit, you will gain hands-on experience in fundraising, partnerships building, stakeholder engagement, and more, particularly on an impactful project funded by Sight and Life. We welcome applicants with 1-3 years of full-time work experience who are eager to learn and contribute to our mission.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential partners for collaboration.
• Turn potential organizations into active partnerships.
• Design partnerships engagement strategy.
• Assist in preparing reports and updates for stakeholders.
• Draft project proposals (nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive).
• Conduct research on potential funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships.
• Coordinate with the team members to maintain project activities’ compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• A degree in public health, nutrition, social work, or a related field, master’s preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, grasp of Hindi is a must.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information.
• Self-starter who will thrive in a start-up setting by taking ownership and initiative.
• Passion for promoting women and girls’ empowerment and nutrition.
• High professional ethics and commitment.
