Women’s Organization for Socio-Cultural Awareness (WOSCA) is a voluntary organization established on 20th December 1993 in Keonjhar district of Odisha to serve the under privileged families with special focus on women and children. It has been registered under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 in the year 1993-94 and registered under FCRA in the year 2000. Since its inception it has been taking up need-based programs in areas where tribal concentration is more. Most of its programs are women focused. WOSCA is working on governance & livelihood, health & education, women & child rights, and preservation of environment. WOSCA at present covers 1,80,000 families through its 19 development projects in different parts of India. WOSCA is currently managing different health and nutrition projects such as Maternity Waiting Home (Maa Gruha), Nutrition Rehabilitation Center (NRC), Creches, Integrated Health & Nutrition Intervention project etc.
1. Entitlement Coordinator
Qualifications and Skills:
- Post Graduate Degree in Social Work/Sociology/Rural Development/Social Science or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in coordinating and implementing welfare schemes.
- Understanding of government regulations and policies related to welfare programs. Ability to organize and manage documentation efficiently.
- The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Remuneration: up to Rs 30,000/-

Job Summary:
The Entitlement Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the entitlement process related to welfare schemes or programs for nutritionally vulnerable households. This role involves coordinating with government agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure eligible households receive the necessary entitlements, benefits, and nutritional support. The coordinator will be instrumental in facilitating the implementation of welfare schemes and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate the proper implementation of social welfare schemes for all eligible nutritionally vulnerable households.
- Collaborate with different government officials and community level service providers to ensure effective program delivery.
- Develop and implement a robust process for assessing the eligibility of households for nutritional welfare schemes.
- Conduct outreach and awareness programs to inform potential beneficiaries about different programs and social welfare scheme like ICDS, MAMTA and PDS under National Food Security Act, Janani Surakshay Yojana, Pensions, CMAM entitlements, linkages with Nutri Garden etc.
- Prepare and organize documentation required for entitlement submissions, including applications, and supporting evidence of eligibility.
- Work closely with government agencies, local authorities, PRI members and community leaders to streamline the entitlement process to include all eligible left out beneficiaries.

2. Capacity Building Officer (CBO)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Post Graduate Degree in Social Work/Sociology/Rural Development/Social Science or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of previous work experience in designing and delivering capacity building projects, preferably in the health and nutrition sector. Strong understanding of nutrition issues, especially in the context of community- based projects.
- The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Remuneration: up to Rs 38,500/-

Job Summary:
The Capacity Building Officer will play a key role in the successful implementation of the Nutrition Project by designing, coordinating, and delivering capacity-building initiatives. The primary focus will be on enhancing the skills and knowledge of project staff, community members, and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and sustainable nutrition interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify capacity-building needs.
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials based on IYCF Practices, VHSND, Home visit and Counselling to Mothers and Childrens, Growth Monitoring, Identification and Prioritization of SAM, MAM and High Risk Mother (HRP) etc.
- Ensure alignment of training content with project objectives and best practices in nutrition.
- Conduct training sessions for project staff, community members, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Utilize varied training methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify gaps in skills and knowledge. Develop and implement strategies to address identified capacity gaps.

3. Nutrition Expert
Qualifications and Skills:
- Post Graduate Degree in Public Health/ Nutrition/ Health care Management. May consider Social Work/Sociology/Rural Development/Social Science or a related field along with in depth knowledge and experience related to the field of Nutrition.
- At least 5-7 years of previous work experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating nutrition-related projects. Strong project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage resources effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse project stakeholders. She/He should possess problem-solving skills and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate complex nutrition concepts in a clear and accessible manner. Strong research skills and ability to analyze and interpret nutrition data.

The Nutrition Expert for the Nutrition Project plays a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health & nutrition-related initiatives. This position involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, designing intervention strategies, and ensuring the project’s alignment with nutritional goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define nutritional goals and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive nutrition plans that align with the overall project scope and objectives.
- Design and implement evidence-based nutrition interventions tailored to the target population.
- Incorporate innovative strategies to address specific nutritional needs identified in the project.
- Develop protocols for collecting nutrition-related data for project evaluation.
- Analyze nutritional data to assess the impact of interventions and make data-driven recommendations.
- Work closely with program manager, capacity building officer, entitlement coordinator, quick response team (QRT), MIS and other professionals to integrate nutrition components into the overall project plan.
- Provide expertise on nutrition-related matters during project meetings and discussions.
- Engage with the community to understand cultural, social, and dietary practices that may influence project outcomes.
- Develop community-based nutrition strategies to ensure relevance and acceptance of project outcomes.
- Support to Capacity Building Officer and Programme Manager for doing impactful training to project staff and front-line workers (3A) on nutrition-related topics.
- Implement monitoring mechanisms to track the progress of nutrition interventions within the project.
- Conduct regular evaluations to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of nutrition programs.
- Prepare regular reports on the nutrition project’s progress, challenges, and achievements and share with donor organizations.
