1. Analyst- FP&A

Major responsibilities :

Department:  MIS

Function: Finance

Seniority Level:  Entry level

• Preparation of monthly business MIS
• Involves regional co-ordination and monthly closing processes
• Budgeting of business EBITDA
• End to end costing
• quarterly and annual audit related activities and support
• Inventory valuation
• Project analysis
• Other management requirements and statutory details

 Specific Knowledge /skills required :

• Good knowledge of accounting and costing ;
• Expert in MS Excel
• SAP/BW knowledge desirable

Qualification  :  CA/CMA/INTER CA

Years of Experience  :  4-6 years

2. Specialist – FTO Formulations

Department:  Global IP

Function:  Regulatory, Research and Development

Seniority Level: Associate

Job Summary:

The position will cater to the increasing requests for patent check (Pre-screening/FTO/Landscape/Combination Portfolio) from different regions and will assist the team to perform thorough patent check for advancing projects that are bound by strict timelines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Freedom to operate analysis; Patent searches using various databases
• Preparation of patent landscape
• Infringement analysis of formulation/recipe proposed by R & D and review of critical patents.
• Pre-screening patent report
• Identify blocking patents
• Design IP strategy for blocking patents
• Identify patent filing opportunity

Required Education and Experience :

• Overall 6-8 years of relevant experience
• M.Pharmacy/M.Sc (Organic Chemistry) from a premier institute
• Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law & Practice (Preferred)
• Experience in patent database searches and ability to search relevant prior arts
• Sound patent & formulation knowledge
• Good knowledge of US & Europe patent rules for Infringement analysis
• Understanding of the chemical/agrochemical business (Preferred)
