1.HUF Programme Lead (Water Conservation)
About the job
With 80% Of India’s Water Footprint In Agriculture, Our Programmes Across The Country Aim To Help Rural Communities
The clock is ticking as India is likely to have half the water it needs by 2030. Hindustan Unilever Foundation (HUF) was set up in 2010 to support scalable solutions that can help address India’s water challenges. Our ‘Water for Public Good’ programme is anchored in the belief that water is a shared resource and must be managed through citizen-led initiatives.
HUF consciously partners with non-profit organisations, social enterprises, technology innovators and sector specialists. We are aware that scalable solutions for water security will require deep partnerships with a cross section of partners. Our current partners include some of the largest NGOs in the country as well as regional organisations that have done incredible work in a particularly vulnerable geography.
Candidate Profile: India has the science and the solutions to solve for the water crisis. However, scale has been elusive. Over the course of the next 3-5 years, HUF will embark on partnership driven programmes built on a foundation of shared purpose, ambitious scale and sustainable impact. The goal is to co-create programmes that leverage the capacity, resources, imagination and collective will of multiple stakeholders towards securing India’s water future. We are looking for dynamic and experienced team members to lead a portfolio of water conservation programmes.
