Department/ Role at Udhyam:
The M&E team at Udhyam Shiksha assesses the efficacy of program delivery and evaluates participant movement on mindsets and skills as well as leverages data to generate insights and drive data-based decision making.
Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for an individual to work on conducting secondary research and abridge learnings for a diverse range of M&E projects The scope of work will include:
- Conducting secondary research through sources of publications, journals, articles, reports, and studies on select M&E topics. A few examples of research topics are: assessment of a student’s 21st century skills, and setting up of long-term surveys (longitudinal surveys) for educational interventions.
- Abridging key learnings and important takeaways from the secondary research and consolidating the same in the form of documents or presentations for the M&E team.
- Leading presentations and discussions to share learnings from the secondary research.
- Identify thought leaders/ academicians / practitioners in our areas of interest, seek collaborations and initiate conversations to further our knowledge
Skills, Experience and Mindsets:
- Prior experience conducting secondary research for academic or technical purposes.
- An interest to learn more about educational interventions in non-profits.
- Proficient in spoken and written communication (formal writing) in English.
- The ability to identify highlights and key takeaways from multiple sources of information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – (MS Word, and MS Powerpoint) and/or Google Suite.
Please note:
- This role will require full time commitment and will be for a minimum duration of 4 weeks.
- This will be a paid internship.
- This opening is also available for individuals who are currently pursuing undergraduate courses.
