Job Overview

The Practitioner – Employability & Entrepreneurship will lead the implementation and management of a project aimed at enhancing employability and entrepreneurship skills, requiring strong partnership building, stakeholder liaison, project planning, reporting, and technical support to achieve project targets and impact.

We’re seeking an exceptional Project Implementation and Management Lead to drive our project’s success on the ground.

As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the project’s entire lifecycle, from planning to implementation, ensuring we meet our targets and make a meaningful impact.

You will develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, aligning with our goals and objectives, and foster strong partnerships with local stakeholders, including ITIs, universities, government departments, industries, and associations. Staying attuned to the local job market, you will identify skill gaps and demand, and facilitate connections between skilled candidates and employers.

Effective communication and coordination with all stakeholders are crucial, keeping them informed of project progress and results. You will manage financial resources, track expenses, and prepare regular reports to ensure transparency and accountability. Additionally, you will provide technical support to set up systems, processes, and procedures for effective project planning and implementation.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree from a prominent institute in Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences and other related fields
• At least 5 years of experience in skill development, employment generation, enterprise development, livelihood projects
• Experience in implementation of developmental/social sector programs at state level, documentation of project reports, development of dashboards, and stakeholder management
• Excellent communications and documentation (MS Word, Excel) skills in English
• Previous experience of working with the development organisations / CSR Projects / State Governments skill/employment projects shall be preferred
• Excellent demonstrated documentation skills and prior experience in developing concept notes / reports / project plans will be essential
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, with an ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in Hindi and English
