SusMafia is on a mission to fuel the wave of climate entrepreneurship. Our Sustainability Ventures program is our most ambitious project yet — aiming to bring forth 100 new climate startups in the next 3 years by partnering with top-tier universities. We need a dynamic, resourceful, and committed individual to join our core team and be the driving force behind this impactful initiative. As the heartbeat of this initiative, you will have the unique chance to work closely with inspiring mentors (read: India’s leading Climate entrepreneurs) and industry experts, driving the program’s success while nurturing a vibrant ecosystem of sustainable ventures.

Role Overview:

As the Lead for Program Delivery of Sustainability Ventures, you’ll be leading the delivery of the program across 4 university institutions as the first stint followed by leading the program design for subsequent batches across university campuses. You will be the go to mentor for startups coming out of the program to hand-hold and help to accelerate.

Your mission is clear: ensure smooth program operations, guide and support the startups emerging from the program, and be the catalyst for seamless communication between Susmafia, university partners and the startups that come out.

Key Responsibilities:

Ambitious Goal:
Be part of the founding team dedicated to bringing 100 new climate startups to life in the next three years.
Work collaboratively to shape the future of climate entrepreneurship in India and beyond.

On-Ground Program Support:

• Oversee and ensure the smooth execution of the Sustainability Ventures program across onboarded university partners for 1 year
• Hustle on the ground to navigate challenges, adapt swiftly, and keep the program scaling seamlessly.

Startup Support and Scaling:

• Be the go-to person for startups emerging from the program, providing hands-on guidance and support.
• Work closely with startups to understand their needs, connect them to relevant resources, and foster their growth.

Trainer and Speaker Coordination:

• Manage and coordinate trainers and speakers, ensuring they align with program objectives.
• Facilitate communication between trainers, speakers, and the diverse university program teams.

Strategic Communication:

• Bridge the gap between SusMafia’s leadership and the on-ground program teams.
• Ensure clear, effective, and seamless communication channels to drive the program’s success.

• Require to start immediately
• Even though this a remote first opportunity but if you are based out of Bangalore/Delhi/Mumbai it is an added benefit
• Have at least 3+ years of experience

Compensation

Competitive compensation – commensurate to the experience and matching the standards adopted by industry or other similar organizations for similar roles.
