Position Overview:
TERI is seeking enthusiastic and driven Master’s students to join as interns for Small Grant Programme. This opportunity is tailored for individuals with a strong interest in sustainable development and environmental conservation. Interns will play a key role in supporting TERI’s initiatives through research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement, contributing to impactful outcomes in sustainability and development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Literature review, research, development and writing strategies, policy reviews, project reports
  • Compilation of data of various landscapes
  • Conducting baseline surveys
  • Undertake visits to project sites and conduct stakeholder consultations
  • Assist in conducting training and workshop

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Masters degree in Sustainable Development, Development Science, Environmental Science, Rural development or related disciplines.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, editing, and writing skills
  • Understanding of structured writing, attention to detail, and creativity
  • Organizational skills and eagerness to work on multiple assignments at once
  • Deadline-driven mentality
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn
  • Exhibits personal initiative and independence
