Tech Mahindra Foundation is the corporate social responsibility arm of Tech Mahindra Limited, a Mahindra Group Company. With a vision of ’empowerment through education’, the core agenda of the Foundation are its impactful programmes in school education, employability and at the same time promoting inclusivity for persons with disabilities. It carries out the day-to-day functions from its New Delhi-based corporate office and 11 other cities spread across India. All Round Improvement in School Education (ARISE and ARISE+), In-Service Teacher Training Institutes under the aegis of Shikshaantar, and Skills for Market Training (SMART and SMART+) are the vehicles driving the core agenda. It works with children and youth from urban, disadvantaged communities in India to help them educate and train through the programmes to get jobs based on their acquired skills. 1. Project Manager
Project: Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Digital Technologies
Experience: 6-8 years of total experience in which minimum 2 years should at project Manager / Project head level (handling admission, placements and overall operation of a vocational training institution) in Vocational training.
Location: Hyderabad
Qualification: Masters in Business Administration / IT will be preferred. Graduates with relevant experience also may apply.

Job Description
- Shall be the Administrative Head of the Academy responsible for efficient operation of the Academy in line with the objectives and guidelines from Tech Mahindra Foundation.
- Shall be contributing for producing / improving various Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and ensuring compliance thereof at all times.
- Shall be responsible for critical areas e.g., Mobilization, Internship and Placement.
- Shall be responsible for obtaining Accreditations / memberships of various bodies and renewal thereof in line with the courses being offered.
- Shall be responsible for the quality of training at the Academy and to strive for enhancing the benchmark to match the international standards.
- Shall be responsible for building relationships with NGOs, Associations, bodies, corporate, government departments and other organizations in the Healthcare Sector.
- Shall be responsible for placement of students and develop a network of employers.
- Shall be responsible for the delivery of quality training in academics and on the job training for all students.
- Shall constantly monitor and update the quality of training from time to time as required by the Regulatory body/standards set by the Management Committee.
- Shall Liaison with the IT, Digital, Media and other companies in the Digital and IT sector to build connect and coordinate for the internships as well as final job placement of the students.
Desired Skill Set
- Should have a clear understanding of all the processes like HR & Admin as well as the all-other processes governing a large training institute from Registration to Assessment along with handholding and importance of an Alumni Association.
- Should have a reasonable understanding of commercial functions e.g., budgeting, purchase, finance etc.
- Should have a fair geographical know how of Chennai and skill development requirements in the region would be added advantage.
- Experience in managing vocational training projects in Digital Technologies, Information Technology and other technical courses is preferred
- Should have good communication and reasoning and interpersonal skills.
- Should have good Team management and organization skills.
- Willingness to learn with a flexible approach.
2. Executive Placement
Project: Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Healthcare
Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in placement and student interaction in the Higher Education Sector/Vocational Training
Location: Mohali
Qualification: Candidate should be a graduate

Roles and Responsibilities:
- To support the Project Director/HOD Academics in the planning and preparation of the on-the-job training and placements of students from different courses of healthcare.
- To coordinate between the employers and the students on the Placement process which include sharing the job vacancy with the students, scheduling the interviews accompanying the students for interviews and keeping them informed on the employer’s feedback.
- To communicate and coordinate with the respective faculties and HOD-Academics on the employer feedback and assist them to prepare the students for interviews as per the industry requirement.
- To organize the campus placements, update student’s resume and educational documents and assist them in the entire process.
- To assist in the development and maintenance of the database of the existing employers and generate new connection by tele-calling and emailers.
- Ensure healthy interaction with the students, conducting pre placement sessions and mock interviews.
- Maintaining the Placement format, employer’s database and a number of jobs offer received.
- Documentation of student’s resume, educational and other documents as desired by the respective employer.
- Any other task as assigned by the Project manager and Project Director.
Desired Skill Set
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and managerial skills.
- Experience of student interactions and data management.
- Familiarity and ability to work on MS office tools (Power point, Excel, Word).
- Prior experience with the Healthcare sector is preferred.
