Tech Mahindra Foundation is the corporate social responsibility arm of Tech Mahindra Limited, a Mahindra Group Company. With a vision of ’empowerment through education’​, the core agenda of the Foundation are its impactful programmes in school education, employability and at the same time promoting inclusivity for persons with disabilities. It carries out the day-to-day functions from its New Delhi-based corporate office and 11 other cities spread across India. These programmes are executed through specific initiatives that facilitate the process of achieving the larger goal. All Round Improvement in School Education (ARISE and ARISE+), In-Service Teacher Training Institutes under the aegis of Shikshaantar, and Skills for Market Training (SMART and SMART+) are the vehicles driving the core agenda. It works with children and youth from urban, disadvantaged communities in India to help them educate and train through the programmes to get jobs based on their acquired skills. Project: Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Digital Technologies

Experience: Must have at least 3 to 4 years of work experience as a placement officer dealing   with placements in the IT Industry present in cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune etc.

Location:  Hyderabad

Qualification: Must be a graduate. Master degree will be preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Taking care of placements of the students.
  • To have close liaison with industry for the placement of students.
  • Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with academic departments and the potential companies.
  • Should maintain the employer database(s). Maintain student files as needed. Submit a monthly report.
  • Identify new avenues for placements and share with the academic department
  • Identify new trends in the job market in the respective sectors and share with the academic department
  • To correspond with prospective companies for interview date and schedule of events.
  • Must be a Team Player.

Essential Qualification and Experience:

  • Work experience as TPO (Training and Placement Officer) in a good Engineering College will be added advantage
  • Must be familiar with Hyderabad based IT Companies
  • Must have strong relationships with employers.
  • Should have good knowledge of software companies and companies in the media and entertainment sector.
  • Possess excellent communication skills along with excellent skills in writing business communication.
  • Should have Problem Solving Ability, Presentation skills, and Team Management Skills.
  • Should be proficient in working with MS. Office and other MIS software applications for various reports.
  • Must be familiar with social media platforms.
  • Require excellent presentation and networking skills.
  • Must have access to and use their own transportation.
  • Candidates should be self-motivated, self-driven in planning hiring events.
