Brief Job Description

1. Support Senior Manager – Education (Assessment Cell):

• To create tools, manuals, sample selection, pilot testing of tools and data collection, to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of projects, activities, on[1]ground efforts etc.;
• To ideate and implement various tasks for affective functioning of assessment cell and meeting assessment related requirements for portfolio
• To manage and coordinate with external experts & resources and vendors for assessment related tasks and assignments as required

2. To design sampling protocols and implement procedures and techniques for carrying out appropriate sampling for state assessment and research programmes

3. Data Analysis-

• To implement data analysis procedures for establishing reliability and validity of assessment tools developed by the cell
• To create scoring, scaling and equating protocols and techniques for data assessment and implementing data validation techniques
• To analyse the assessment data using advanced statistical techniques
• To generate meaningful insights from data that are action oriented and usable by different stakeholders
• To devise formats in which analysis can be most effectively presented

4. To support Senior Manager in report writing and dissemination and developing knowledge products

5. To support in capacity building of teams across the organization to ensure adherence in data collection processes, data quality standards, documentation, understanding and interpreting results and conduct dissemination workshops

6. To create a database of statistics and reports on the education sector, nationally and internationally

7. To anchor the development and implementation of automated report generation platform Job Specifications:

Knowledge & Skills:

• Social impact data collection and analysis
• Quantitative & Qualitative data analysis
• Proven ability to design monitoring and impact instrumentation tools
• Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic and multidisciplinary environment as part of a closely-knit team
• Data visualization skills and knowledge of relevant software to produce infographics

Experience:

• 8+ years of work experience in Social impact data collection and analysis.
