Brief Job Description:

1. Leadership

  • Influence decision-makers in a complex environment within and outside organisation units (Regional and Global counter parts) at all levels, and drive actions/decisions.
  • Provide Strategic and Leadership inputs / guidance for organisation’s activities.
  • Work closely with Program teams for effective cross collaboration.
  • Optimize & strengthen relationship with stake holders and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate team member’s development and growth

2. Strategic

  • Be the go-to person and collaborate teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify cost drivers within supply chain processes, initiate cost saving measures.
  • Develop and optimize the utilization of SC resources

3. Planning & Operational

  • Responsible for review on Organisation requirements & ensure that these requirements are met fully on a continuous basis.
  • Set and manage Supply Chain KPIs: inventory, delivery services, planning accuracy and logistics costs, identify cost drivers within SC processes, initiate cost saving measures
  • Handle import transactions & deal with shipping liners, forwarding agents
  • Coordinate with Departments on dissemination of Organisation requirements & alert priorities to ensure smooth supply chain
  • Inventory Management, effective material planning and control to maintain optimum inventory levels.
  • Lead the SCM Team to ensure smooth order management process
  • Propose, evaluate and implement investment projects related to SCM topics.

4. Procurement

  • Identify potential vendors / suppliers, gather and analyse market information; recommends prospective vendors to senior leadership.
  • Identify cost drivers within supply chain processes, initiate cost saving measures.
  • Guide the team / advise and maintain contact with various vendors, and government agencies such as customs and related agencies. (External)
  • Leads the team in negotiations and ensuring that vendor contracts are compliant as per internal and external auditory and regulatory compliances
  • Evaluate vendor performance and recommend strategy to the management
  • Periodically assesses inventories and compares with market activity; may recommend adjustment of the procurement plan to top management

5. Risk Management

  • Coordinate with various departmental functions as required to ensure compliance with internal and external rules and regulations related to supply chain operations and processes.
  • Identify risks and take preventive/corrective action including communication to relevant stakeholders.

Key Accountability:

  1. Organize and manage material flows in the end-to-end process (Sales order to receipt of material by the end user / units).
  2. Support the Business in achieving the cost control targets by ensuring a continuous supply of materials by maintaining optimum levels of inventory.
  3. To ensure the demand is dynamically gathered & coordinate with the vendors to ensure that products are shipped to end users /units ON TIME at best possible costs.
  4. The Job includes Procurement, Demand/ Supply planning, Vendor Development, Logistics Management.

Experience:

  • Working Experience of Minimum 15 Years (Including minimum 5 years of managerial experience in Supply Chain Management)
  • Experience in procurement of hospitals & medical equipment’s including Tendering, bidding & contracting activity
  • Should have handled procurement for multiple location offices & procurement of medical equipment & other hospital inventory
  • Ability to prioritize departmental activities, set effective (SMART) goals and objectives in line with overall corporate strategy
  • Ability to interpret data and make including appropriate personnel where needed; exhibit sound and accurate judgment
  • Ability to forge positive relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of management and with all departments
  • Show initiative by undertaking self-development activities, seeking increased responsibilities, and taking advantage of learning opportunities
  • Ensuring all procurements is done of qualitatively approved Brands at minimum possible rates.

Qualification:

  • MBA in Operations & SCM / or Finance or related fields.
