Tarun Bharat Sangh is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated individual to fill the position of an IWMP Expert (Watershed Management) who will ensure the organization’s responsibilities are carried out effectively on the ground and in the office. Designation: IWMP Expert

Nature of work: Extensive travel required- Field & Office based

Base Location: Alwar, Rajasthan

Field locations: Alwar, Karauli, Dholpur, Kota, Jaipur, Nuh etc.

CTC: INR 4.2 LPA

Preference: Candidate who can join immediately

Key Responsibilities:

● Proficiency in making Integrated Watershed Management Plan

● Job responsibilities will include project planning, technical design of structures, cost estimation, implementation management, quality assurance, monitoring, reporting.

● Responsible for collection, evaluation and analysis of socio-economic, land use, soil, water related and other empanelled information related to watershed.

● Responsible and accountable for project interventions in field areas, collaborating closely with the Project Manager.

● Develop and maintain positive relationships with government officials, community members, PRI members, and other stakeholders.

● Along with other activities, promote, administer, and manage watershed activities and ground water management programmes.

● Adhere to all routine reporting requirements on a timely basis and plan and conduct periodic programme review meetings accordingly.

● Any other tasks assigned by the Project Manager, as well as providing hands-on support when necessary.

● The position requires extensive movement to the field.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

● B. Tech./ B.E in IWMP, Civil Engineering or relevant stream

● A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant field experience is required.

● Fluency in Hindi and English is required.

● Strong computer skills with an exceptional command of Auto-Cad, MS Excel, Word, and Power-point, as well as other engineering software and equipment required for the job.

● Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in water conservation, GIS, and agriculture

● Experience working in the development sector would be an added advantage (PRA tools and techniques and sensitive towards community).
