SEWA Bharat is the All-India Federation of Self-Employed Women’s Associations that works with women workers in the informal sector in 18 states. In all these states, SEWA is involved in organizing women workers and their development through Self Help Groups, Co-operatives and Federations. With over 2 million active members across 18 states, SEWA Bharat’s reach in the development sector is ever expanding. SEWA Bharat supports development programs and activities that organize women so they can aim to achieve full employment and self-reliance for all its members. SEWA Bharat is a family of SEWA organizations to further informal women workers’ rights, livelihoods, financial independence, education, health and social security.
Responsibilities :
KEY FUNCTIONS WORK DIVISION
1. Project Management: 30
a Assist in charting deliverables; creating, executing and updating work plan; overseeing project implementation in the program areas.
b This will also entail interacting with Internal Head Office units such as Accounts, HR and Various programs as and when necessary.
c Engaging with different organizations both within the umbrella of SEWA Bharat as well as partner organizations.
2. Documentation and reporting 20
a Assist in writing periodical reports for funders and partners, detailing project implementation progress, and lessons learned.
3 Training: 30
a Assist in developing content for training, contributing to modifying the training modules as required and facilitating training according to project requirements.
4. Field Work: 20
a Visit and monitor the work in all States where SEWA Bharat member organizations are presently accompanying the agevans in their leadership role.
3. REQUIREMENTS & APPLICATION PROCESS QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
● Masters in Social work
● 1-2 years of experience in similar field
● Excellent verbal and written abilities in Hindi and English SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE (Mandatory)
● Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
● Training and facilitation skills
