1. PROGRAM ASSOCIATE

Job Description:
SBI Foundation proposes to recruit an adaptable and dynamic individual for the role of Program Associate to work with its Gram Seva team to assist the team in the overall management of the rural development and other projects.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum one year experience, preferably in the development sector.
Key Responsibilities:
The Program Associate will be supporting Program Coordinator and the team for effective monitoring of the projects managed by Gram Seva team/SBIF.
Following are the Key Responsibility Areas:
- Provide key support to the Coordinator in managing the program, financial operations, admin-related activities and monitoring the compliance of the various policy in coordination with other team members.
- Responsible for processing payment notes, procurements, accounts payable and receivable, updating the dashboard, and scanning and printing documents.
- Responsible for effective DAK management, including summarising requests/ proposals received to be put up to the Screening Committee, workflow management, and the promotion of an innovative work environment.
- Monitor activities and provide various periodic reports as desired by the Management and prepare notes and PPT in coordination with the team members.
- Organising and scheduling meetings with all the stakeholders.
- Responsible for raising requests and coordinating with the IT Team to resolve any technical issues and raise requests to procure any equipment/ item(s).
- Responsible for ensuring all essential documents are uploaded to the cloud at regular intervals
- Updating various meeting registers and preparing minutes of the meeting.
- Organising and scheduling various meetings with all the stakeholders.
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities including reconciliations of bank statements.
- Scanning financial documents, approvals, and program-related documents on a regular basis
- Support in statutory audit or any other audit.
- Providing necessary support in day-to-day operation.
- Perform any other task/role assigned by the Management of the SBI Foundation.
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Effective Monitoring of Project implementation, compilation of the progress reports
- Evaluate data/reports submitted by the implementing NGOs and track project progress
- Coordinating in Impact Assessments and taking corrective measures for the project
- Regular updating and validation of project data in the monitoring dashboards/website.
Documentation
- Prepare, maintain and update files (electronic and paper) and internal databases; designs and generates a variety of periodic and ad-hoc reports, statistical tables, charts, graphs, and other background materials/notes to facilitate flow of information
- Summarise briefs, reports and official documents as required by Foundation.
Essential Skills and Qualities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate excel skills
- Working knowledge of basic financial operations principles
- Excellent communication skills and writing skills
- Computer literate in standard software applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills

2. ASSISTANT PROGRAM MANAGER

Job Description:
SBI Foundation proposes to recruit an adaptable and dynamic individual for the role of Program Associate to work with its Gram Seva team to assist the team in the overall management of the rural development and other projects.
Qualifications
- Post-Graduate Degree with minimum 1-2 years experience in the development sector or a Bachelor’s Degree with 2-3 years experience in rural development
- Preference will be given to candidates who also have experience of grassroots level work in rural development
Key Responsibilities:
The Assistant Program Manager will be responsible for the effective implementation & monitoring of the allocated projects under the SBI Gram Seva team. They will be working with Foundation to ensure that the projects are successfully implemented by the partners and achieve the objectives.
Following are the Key Responsibility Areas:
Project Implementation:
- Impactful implementation of the projects through the partner NGOs
- Ensuring Strategic & Budgetary guidelines are meticulously followed by the NGOs
- Ensuring Periodic Milestones are successfully achieved within timelines
- Bringing innovative ideas for enhancing the impact of the project
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Effective Monitoring of Project implementation by regular field visits
- Evaluate data/reports submitted by the implementing NGOs and track project progress
- Coordinating Impact Assessments and taking corrective measures for the project
- Regular updating and validation of project data in the monitoring dashboards/website.
Documentation
- Prepare, maintain and update files (electronic and paper) and internal databases; designs and generates a variety of periodic and ad-hoc reports, statistical tables, charts, graphs, and other background materials/notes to facilitate flow of information
- Summarise briefs, reports and official documents as required by Foundation
- Draft project summaries, presentations, case studies and white papers
Visibility Management:
- Ensuring project visibility by providing regular updates to social media handles
- Sharing success stories and brand building in national platforms/forums/events
- Liaison with Government Officials and other institutes for meaningful collaborations
- Assist in the publication of periodic E-newsletters/mid-term reports/annual reports etc.
Key Responsibility Areas will include, but are not limited to:
- Organise seminars/ roundtables/ workshops for national experts addressing sustainable development issues. Monitor, evaluate and develop reports on project undertaken by SBI Foundation, including reporting to partners/funders. Prepare written outputs, e.g. draft background papers, analysis, sections of reports and studies, inputs to publications, presentations and reports, etc.
Assistant Program Manager will also assist in any other related works assigned by SBI Foundation from time to time.
