1. Associate Consultant – Impact Measurement and Advisory (Remote)

Location : Remote ( Contractual )

Problem Solving & Study design

  • Support the team in developing solutions to assess projects across different thematic areas such as Education, Health, Skilling, and  identifying appropriate methodology to measure impact
  • Support the team in developing research design based on the client outcomes, identifying relevant frameworks, sampling and stakeholders, and finalising indicators for key areas of enquiry
  • Define indicators, research questions and prepare data collection tools that are required to carry out the studies

Execution of evaluation studies

  • Be in charge of creating the field plan and conducting end to end data collection for the study. This will include
  • Engaging with the implementation organizations to understand on-ground challenges, identifying relevant stakeholders, and conducting the data collection exercise
  • Managing enumerators, troubleshooting on the field, and ensuring quality data through regular back-end checks
  • Lead on-ground data collection to conduct in-depth interviews, focused groups discussions with key stakeholders on each project

Data Analysis and synthesis

  • Conduct the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data collected using excel/STATA/Tableau
  • Draw relevant findings and insights from the data analysed
  • Create the wireframe for presenting preliminary insights and report
  • Taking the lead on putting together the final report of the project

Cross-functional

  • Actively contribute to the tangible knowledge of the organization by sharing learning and creating assets for other team members to reuse
  • Support different aspects of organization-building as and when the opportunity arises

What we are looking for

We are looking for exceptional individuals who are excited by to lead assessments and research studies, are willing to travel to semi-urban and rural locations, and have the following profile:

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in the business or social developmental sector
  • Background in research, project/programme assessments, data analytics
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working on monitoring, evaluation, or assessments in the social impact sector will be preferable
  • Strong data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work across multiple projects in a collaborative, dynamic and multidisciplinary environment
  • Willingness to travel to remote locations

2. Consultant, Impact Measurement & Advisory

Location : Bengaluru

The opportunity

The Consultant will be an integral part of our Impact Measurement and Advisory working on designing and building solutions that address our customer needs and create measurable social impact. They will be directly responsible for:

Problem Solving & Study design

  • Developing solutions to assess projects across different thematic areas such as Education, Health, Skilling, and  identifying appropriate methodology and strategy to measure impact
  • Developing research design based on the client outcomes, finalising relevant data collection tools, and defining indicators for key areas of enquiry based on frameworks
  • Structuring and performing analysis, synthesizing information and key insights, and forming and testing hypotheses.
  • Conducting rigorous secondary and primary research, developing insights and recommendations for the assessment
  • Translating data to informative insights and actionable recommendations effectively both internally and externally with clients

Operations

  • Leading operations of a project, taking ownership of managing logistics and coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Engaging with clients and communities to effectively evaluate social; development interventions
  • Creating documentation, reports and tools to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of projects, activities, on-ground efforts etc.

Supporting the team in project management and delivery

  • Maintaining visibility of project management, planning and closure through documentation and communication

Leading a team

  • Leading a team of 2-3 Associates/Analysts to deliver projects and internal business unit activities
  • Supporting the team during challenges and setbacks through a combination of guidance, hand-holding support, and working together to ensure that the team delivers on high performance
  • Enabling a transparent and participatory culture, engaging with all team members to co-create solutions, and drive relevant change processes for the team/ project/ function.

What we are looking for

We are looking for exceptional individuals who are excited by to lead assessments and research studies, create knowledge products that contribute to informed decision-making and action for CSRs and have the following profile:

  • An experience of 4-6 years in consulting, working with social enterprises, or in the social impact space.
  • Strong technical knowledge in research, project/programme assessments, data analytics and minimum 1-3 years of experience working on monitoring, evaluation and learning in the social impact sector.
  • Must have experience in the on-ground implementation of programs
  • Strong project management skills for multifaceted projects resulting in measurable outcomes
  • Proven record of managing small-to-medium-scale projects with a variety of stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

3. Engagement Manager- Impact Measurement & Advisory

Location : Bengaluru

Who are we looking for: We are seeking an experienced dynamic consulting professional/strategic thinker who has worked in the corporate and/or social sector. The individual will be responsible for ensuring customer(s) success and managing overall delivery of projects. The professional must have experience in a leadership position and should have worked in a multi-stakeholder environment.

The Engagement Manager will be an integral part of our Impact Assurance vertical with a core responsibility of expanding the business, leading project delivery and managing corporate clients. The role will include working closely with the team in designing and building solutions to measure and enable high impact on the ground. The Engagement Manager will be responsible for:

Program Management

  • Effectively managing multiple projects, lead timely delivery within the budget, and achieve project outcomes
  • Ensuring resources are adequately mapped to the projects, and are being regularly guided and supported to achieve the desired goals.
  • Leading multiple projects with the teams and taking accountability of project closure and client satisfaction.
  • Foreseeing internal and external risks, creating mitigation strategies, and planning for contingency.
  • Regularly governing multiple projects to ensure timelines, delivery, budget, and team resourcing is tracked and managed on a regular basis.

Problem solving & Study design

  • Engaging with clients and communities effectively to understand program objective and impact assessment outcomes
  • Designing relevant methodologies for an evaluation study across sectors including health, education, vocational training, agriculture and livelihood, water and sanitation etc.
  • Guiding the team to conduct data analysis, visualization, and generating relevant insights.
  • Drafting a cohesive narrative from findings of the study to communicate it to the clients.

Client Engagement 

  • Leading client engagements through relationship building, active listening and providing strategic inputs which align with their vision of high impact on the ground and the ecosystem.
  • Co-creating solutions to meet client’s current and future needs and work closely with key stakeholders.
  • Leading stakeholder engagement, analysis and presentation of synthesized outputs and recommendations based on in-depth understanding of client’s work, developmental needs of the program beneficiaries.
  • Influencing decision making and action to enable positive and sustainable impact.

Leading a team

  • Leading a team of 10-12 people to deliver projects and internal business unit activities
  • Ensuring team wellbeing through regular check-ins to understand professional aspirations and growth trajectory.
  • Supporting the team during challenges and setbacks through a combination of guidance, hand-holding support, and working together to ensure that the team delivers on high performance
  • Enabling a transparent and participatory culture, engaging with all team members to co-create solutions, and drive relevant change processes for the team/ project/ function.

Building expertise and thought leadership
