Purpose
Sanofi’s Humanitarian Programs are a vital element of its mission to develop sustainable health care systems and improve patient outcomes. The primary goal of our Humanitarian Programs is to deliver therapy, to the best of our ability, to patients with a demonstrated need in certain circumstances where treatment access is limited.
The Humanitarian Programs Coordinator is the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries. They coordinate all requests with local medical teams from initial submission to communication of case decision. Through this process they ensure compliance to internal standard operating procedures and adherence to patient privacy requirements.
This position reports to the Head of Humanitarian Programs for Sanofi.

Process
Primary point of contact for local medical teams globally for Humanitarian Program questions, case submissions, process inquiries, etc. Owner of case submission process including verifying completeness of documentation, communication with Global Medical, recording decisions and country follow-up while ensuring compliance to Humanitarian Programs SOP Generate documentation to support Humanitarian Program case decisions including approval or denial letters, order forms, country specific requirements, etc. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding Humanitarian Programs Create and maintain department contact lists and document libraries (ex. program criteria, templates, etc.) Responsible for Humanitarian Program Case Management System access; evaluates and maintains requests, monitors user access, and ensures users have received proper training Translate documentation as needed including case submission documentation, decision letters and country specific requests Review and validate case submission data to ensure audit-ready environment Prepare and provide documentation to support audit-related activities to ensure compliance with Sanofi policies & procedures at the local, regional, and global level Participate in department projects as needed Respond to ad hoc requests from local or Global teams to consolidate historical data, provide summaries, reports, etc. Assist with vendor related queriers regarding payment of invoices as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language
o Patient-focused; demonstrates good common sense and compassion

o Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Adobe Pro Suite.
