Job Title: Project Manager – Self-Help Group (SHG) Project

Organization: SAFA Society
Location: Hyderabad
Job Type: Full Time
Reports to: Director of Operations
Salary: 4,08,000 Per Annum CTC
Timings: 9 AM to 6 PM
Working Days: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

SHG Program Execution:

  • Ensure the effective implementation of the SHG program at the grassroots level.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of ROSHNI CLUB training, MEDP workshops, and outreach programs to enhance SHG and livelihood understanding within the community.

2 .Liaison with Urban Community Development Departments:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Urban Community
  • Development Departments. Ensure timely collection, preparation, verification, and submission of SHG-related documents to the Urban Community
  • Development department in respective areas.

3. Application Status and Communication:

  • Monitor the status of SHG applications and communicate progress to beneficiaries and the project team.
  • Facilitate effective communication channels between beneficiaries, the organization, and relevant authorities.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Regularly update and maintain all project documents.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Program Manager on the progress of the SHG program

5. Participation in Initiatives and Campaigns:

Actively participate in initiatives, campaigns, workshops, seminars, etc., organized by MEPMA, UCD, and GHMC that focus on SHG and livelihood promotion.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in managing and implementing community development projects, especially in the context of Self-Help Groups. Knowledge of Urban Community Development processes and procedures.

c. Skills :

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with government departments and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in report writing and documentation.

d. Other Requirements: Passion for the socio-economic empowerment of women and youth.

  • Familiarity with the cultural dynamics of marginalized communities.
  • Knowledge of SHG and livelihood promotion programs.
