In this position with RoundGlass Foundation (RGF), you will be responsible implementing the RGF’s Regenerative Farming initiative and programs in targeted geographies, with the vision todevelop the state as the leading hub for regenerative agriculture and to enhance and sustain the economic, social and environmental growth to contribute towards creating a model village that creates wholistic wellbeing for everyone . This is an exciting role wherein you be get the opportunity of being a part of a truly pathbreaking initiative.

What you’ll do:

  • Survey and scope villages and identify relevant villages and cohorts of farmers trainers
  • Assist in baseline survey and field preparation and labour resourcing
  • Organize meetings at community center and facilitate discussions involving farmers, local government officials
  • Establish linkages with BDPO and Panchayats for collaboration to drive implementation through synergistic approach
  • Attend capacity building training and act as a communication link between farmers trainers and state program coordinator
  • Collect and compile data from farmers diary using standard format and share with state program coordinator
  • Digital literacy would be good
  • Prepare online monthly report of ongoing activities and share with state coordinator
  • Work with other RGF team members and collaborate with them to identify areas of synergy

Who we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Social Science, Environmental Science or other such related fields. Prior experience of working in a related field would be a plus.
  • Have keen interest in farming (especially natural farming/agroecological practices (SRI/SWI/ICM/CA)
  • Working knowledge of corporate digital media like Outlook, MS office etc.
  • Living in the same district and have some experience of working with community
  • Good connection with local government officials and farming community
  • Should have good connection with farming community and government officials.
  • Ability to work in a challenging, fast paced, results-oriented environment under minimal supervision
  • Having a boundary less approach with a can-do spirit
  • Able and ready to commute to and/or stay in villages
