State Project Coordinator – Reading Right

Reading Right is an education oriented organisation that offers a research-based educational pedagogy from a curriculum carved out of news articles. Their objective is to inculcate a culture of critical thinking with the aim of equipping learners with life skills that help them navigate life as independent and capable beings.  Reading Right  is currently working with multiple state governments and with its unique style of engagement and it’s relevance to NEP 2020, the App has already been made mandatory statewide in Andhra Pradesh both at a higher education level as well as a school level.

About the Position: We are looking for a Telugu-speaking candidate for the role of Project Coordinator to aid our educational project in collaboration with the government in the state of Andhra Pradesh and be the face of the project in the state.

The job would entail the following :

1. Meet with senior bureaucrats to discuss progress and implementation strategies.

2. Holding meetings with various people at different levels of administration at schools or other institutions to further the outreach of our product and vision.

3. Visiting schools at State Level from both rural and urban areas to initiate conversations and implement the vision of the project.

4. Getting a good grasp of Reading Right, it’s vision, motive and work to be able to explain and underline the need of the project to potential and present collaborations.

5. Good hold on language, great communication skills and power to persuade.

Job Details: Full Time, remote with incessant field visits to Andhra Pradesh (rural and urban areas both)
