About the Role:
Program Implementation & Delivery:
- Take responsibility for effective program delivery, review implementation, monitor within the agreed standards Develop effective working relationships with Institute Principals in alignment with ITI Eco-system’s state system change journey map.
- Taking regular sessions at the institute Govt ITI (W) Salem) as per the time table allocated by the Institute on career development.
- Support in placements, Organizing Job Fairs and Connect with employers in the pool.
- Ensure that all ITI have a functional & sustainable placement cell & Career club at your institute and drive system change through these student lead hub
- Conducting Young Entrepreneurs Program trainings
- Manage Mobile phone library in Women ITIs
- Ensure there is a work plan in place for your region and you are able to contribute and implement accordingly.
- Identify and develop learning within the program and facilitate the capturing of these learnings .
- Visit Institute to support trainers with curriculum planning, delivery of content etc
- Conduct monthly/quarterly review meetings with program stakeholders- centre heads, trainers etc.

- Ensure that the trainers, placement officer and centres gradually become independent and sustain the recommendation of the program in their institutes.
- Participate and contribute to capacity building activities.
- Stakeholders Management – Stakeholders (Internal and External)
- Develop an effective working relationship with the Govt. Authority, Principals, GIs (both POs and ESIs) and Facilitators of the region
- Actively engaging and contributing to Industry Engagement/placement Strategies internally.
- Co-ordinating with placement lead and team members in the states to ensure greater industry engagement in placement systems of the state.
- Work closely with the Placement Manager of your state and call out the required support.
Reporting
- Ensure the monitoring data reaches the M&E focal point on time.
- Support coordination of baseline/ endline and other assessments
- Ensure students data is updated in centre database
- Make sure trainers and principal at the institute know about our work through simple monthly reports
- Provide regular written and verbal reports tracking progress against the work plan and implementation schedules
- Use the appropriate M&E tools for reporting I
- Ensure all the program report including case studies, photographs reaches the M&E focal point at the stipulated time
- Documentation of centre, trainer and student success stories
- Following up with ITI’s to share data of students and Institutes as required by M&E framework.
- Participate and contribute to team meetings and reviews
- Support all reporting requirements such as quarter reviews, annual reviews
Requirements
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Social Work/Rural Management or other development disciplines, with 2-4 years of work experience preferably in the Education/Vocational Training sector
- Good communication skills in English and Tamil languages.
- Ability to draft compelling reports grounded in data
- Ability to train facilitators and youths for the vocational training program
- Candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player
- Knowledge of issues in the vocational training space and the social development sector in India.
- Proficient in MS Office tools, and the Internet.
