Quality Council of India (QCI) is the apex quality body in the country, an independent autonomous organization under the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry. QCI is playing a pivotal role in propagating, adopting, and adhering to quality standards in all important spheres like education, healthcare, governance, social sector & infrastructure etc. that have a significant bearing in improving the quality of life of the citizens and economic development of the nation.

About the Role
QCI is looking for young professionals who will work with the policy unit under specific projects which involves leading individual verticals, on-ground implementation of projects, performing data analytics. They should possess very good interpersonal skills such as verbal, non-verbal communication and active listening.

Role: Professionals would be required to work with important stakeholders in various ministries, departments
and provide the policy unit with required strategic research in planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects from time to time. The professionals will be involved in various projects under policy unit as in when required.

Experience & Qualification
The young professionals must have relevant experience working in fields such as Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Sociology/Humanities, Law. The minimum educational qualification would be a bachelor’s degree in any course (engineering, law & finance etc.) however the required qualifications are mentioned in the table
below:

1. Associate Managers

Required Qualifications Bachelors/ Higher qualification in Economics/ Statistics/ Sociology/ Humanities/ Public Policy/ Law/ Technology

Relevant Work Experience (Minimum) 

  • They must have a proven record of leading projects in their prior experience.
  • Preference should be given to candidates who have prior experience working with union/ state
    governments. If they have performed Monitoring & Evaluation exercises in their past, it would be a plus.

2. Analysts

Required Qualifications Bachelors/ Higher qualification in Economics/ Statistics/ Sociology/ Humanities/ Public Policy/ Law/ Data Science/ Data Analytics/ Technology/ Computer Science

Relevant Work Experience (Minimum) 1-2.5 years

  • They must possess good research skills and understand different research methodologies, are able to self-initiate to take part-in different fields.
  • They must have good analytical skills to perform data management.
  • 1-2 of the total analyst’s pool can have candidates with excellent report writing skills. They ideally should have written professional reports in their prior work engagements.
