Population Services International India (PSI INDIA) is a non-profit, nongovernmental organization dedicated to improve life for SARITA in India, particularly the improvement of reproductive and sexual health, improved services for the health of mothers and children, sustainable sanitation solutions for cities and slums. PSI was incorporated in 1980 under the India Societies Act of 1860 and began implementing full-scale activities in 1988. Over the past thirty-three years, PSI India has collaborated with the Government of India and a number of donors to implement various programs towards increasing the use of modern contraception for family planning, to provide products and services for the health of mothers and children and to decrease the spread of HIV/AIDS and TB. About the Program:
The Project Universal Access to Quality (UAQ) Contraception, building on a previous investment called Expanded Access and Quality to broaden method choice (EAQ) will apply a Total Market Approach (TMA) for comprehensive, client-centric, consumer-powered FP which places choices in the hands of the consumer with a focus on youth and low-income clients. By this, the project aims to empower clients who desire to delay or space their pregnancies to choose and use the method of their choice.

A. POSITION PURPOSE:
An experienced professional is sought to ensure that all Management Information Systems data isinputted t imely, accurately and simultaneously relevant data/analytical reports are generated for internal and external audiences periodically or as and when needed.

B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure timely completion of data entry of users and non- users counseled by FPAs in UAQ project in Agra/ assigned districts in Database Management System
  • Ensure validation of data entered in Database Management system on regular basis and incorporate corrective measures as and when errors identified.
  • Ensure feedback on the MIS data quality to the field staff and share the findings with State Implementation Lead and City Implementation Lead
  • Provide the MIS reports to field staff/ state team
  • Coordinate with Program Support Team at State and Head Office for the development and implementation of any Information Systems required for the project.
  • Ensure smooth operations of MIS in the UAQ project
  • Training support to private providers /Pharmacies on web portal/App based processes
  • Provide necessary MIS support to field staff
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual data reports for the usage of the team.
  • Provide relevant data/information to state team/program team as per timelines
  • Impart regular training and handholding support to field team if any
  • Adhere to all reporting systems and generate MIS reports and share it with State Implementation Lead and City Implementation Lead as per the schedule & deadline.
  • Coordinate with field teams for smooth functioning of Information Systems. Other duties as assigned by supervisor

C. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Post Graduate with 5-8 years of experience in maintaining and managing management information systems in development sector.
  • Candidates with exposure in Health sector (Private and Public) particularly in family planning and maternal Health will be preferred
  • Should have experience in database management systems and handling large data.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools like SPSS, Epi-info, STATA will be an added advantage.
