1.Centre In-charge cum Trainer

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Department -Program Implementation

Location -Jaipur and Bengaluru

Level Of Contact With Children: 1 – Direct contact with Children

The position holder shall be responsible to adhere & work within the ambit of Plan India’s Child Protection & Gender Equality Policies.

Summary of the position

Training, placement connections, employer engagement, job-fairs, data collation, MIS, networking, diligence, workplace engagement compliance, and alumni interface, trainee and parent counselling etc.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Maintain and ensure day to day operations of centre.
  2. Conduct domain training sessions covering specified areas such as, soft skills, life-skills, job-readiness, English/workplace communication, computers, assessment, retraining, financial and digital literacy.
  3. Report on progress of youth and provide guidance during training periods.
  4. Apply various types of media into development and deliver such as Audio, Video, Computer and other print and non-print media to enhance training products and services.
  5. Ensure that training products are technically accurate and matched appropriately to target group.
  6. Conduct gender sessions/ and other value-added sessions
  7. Give assignments, training manual cards, guides, handbook, and books.
  8. Documentation and record keeping in MIS and files for enrolment youths in the centre.
  9. Hold career counselling and job readiness sessions.
  10. Record and maintain daily youth attendance and keeping a record of their absenteeism.

Bengaluru -K R Puram, Hoskote(Urban), Peenaya, T Dasarahali, Koramangala

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in training and development management.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English, Hindi and Kannada language (for Bengaluru candidates).
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Superb track record in developing and executing successful training programs.
  • Critical thinker with innovative problem solving skills.
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools.
  • Familiar with traditional and modern training processes.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.

2. Master Trainer

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Department –Program Implementation

Location –  Bengaluru

Level Of Contact With Children: 1 – Direct contact with Children

The position holder shall be responsible to adhere & work within the ambit of Plan India’s Child Protection & Gender Equality Policies.

Summary of the position

Overall program development and management, reporting and documentation, thematic lead, quality assurance, review and monitor progress, staff management, evaluation, proposal and budgets development, donor engagement, training and capacity building, advocacy and networking, employer /local engagement, module/ dossiers /IEC development, transition management

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Conduct advanced English, and workplace communication with trainees to prepare for the corporate and next level jobs.
  2. Conduct and maintain the quality of training being delivered as per laid down norms of Plan India.
  3. Maintain close touch with students to provide guidance and mentorship to trainees.
  4. Conduct periodical assessment of students to analyse the effectiveness of training, manage/ analyse and control student attritions.
  5. Handle placement connection for youth after training and explore new companies to get associated with the project.
  6. Organise job fairs, industry visits, campus interviews.
  7. Counselling of parents and trainees on vocational choice at different level in the project.
  8. Conduct trainee’s enrolment and screening as per targets.
  9. Document and maintain records of handholding pass out students to start their jobs.
  10. Organise employer’s engagement at various course of level, and, diligence.
  11. Organise and arrange guest’s lectures for youth from industry, and employers.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Certification in vocational training
  • Previous experience in the field of Job Oriented Vocational Training
  • Familiarity with relevant software
  • Proficiency in instructional design

  • Ability to motivate and inspire students and team members
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
