One Future Collective (OFC) is a feminist social purpose organisation with a vision of a world built on social justice, led by communities of care. We work with and for people and communities surviving systemic oppression and fight for the right of each person to live a life of safety, dignity and belongingness – by catalysing people power and building just institutions. You can read more about our journey so far here.
Working with OFC
- We invest in people and spend a considerable amount of time developing capacity to ensure you are ready to execute your role. We are looking for candidates who can commit at least the next 1.5-2 years towards this work.
- We are looking for self starters and folks that are able to work without constant supervision.
- All roles are full time and hybrid in nature. The policy shared below indicates the extent of travel expected. Any travel costs outside of the base city are covered. We will work with candidates unable to travel for medical, caregiving or other reasons as well to develop a plan that works for them, if selected.
- We are a fast-paced organisation with a good balance between work, rest, and leisure. We expect high-quality output and invest in providing constructive feedback to all employees.
Note:
- We intensely support all our employees in their future career pathways – within and outside of OFC. However, if you are thinking of doing a Masters in one year or are looking to switch jobs often within this timeframe itself, these roles aren’t for you.
- Before you apply, we would encourage you to think if you are able to work remotely, without the constant presence of someone supervising you and your work.
- The work we do can be emotionally draining. We provide mental health support, leaves and other care support to ensure that you don’t get burnt out. However, while applying we urge candidates to self check if they feel emotionally prepared to take on work focused on social justice.
- If you are shortlisted, in this round, we will hold 2 more rounds followed by a final interview with the Founder & CEO of OFC. We hope to wrap up the process latest by the middle of January, 2024.
We are a small organisation and need a dedicated team to make a sustained impact. Please keep all above factors in mind while applying.
Deadline: The application form will close on 13th December, 2023.
