Career Counselor – Nirmaan Organization

Nirmaan Organization is a registered NGO, started by students of BITS Pilani in 2005. We work in the areas of Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Health and Wellbeing, Community Development and Social Leadership. In the past 16 years of journey, we have impacted the lives of 1.5+ million beneficiaries with the support of 300+ full time employees and 1000+ strong volunteer network, through various impact-oriented Flagship Programs & Social Leadership Initiatives benefiting Children, Women, Youth, Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), LGBTQ+ and Farmers from diverse social backgrounds across 15 States of India while partnering with 100+ Corporate, Government and Philanthropic partners.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Tele-Counseling- Providing information to students on different courses in higher education, job opportunities, admissions, notifications, scholarships etc.
• Attending/Handling the Calls/Enquirers.
• Making Word, Excel, Power Point Reports.
• Good communication skills with command over Regional language and English.
• Conducting Career counseling workshops in Government schools/Private schools.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: Any Graduate/PG – Any Postgraduate 0 to 3 years exp : with good communication skills are encouraged to apply.
  Good Listening skills and high levels of patience.
• Inclination towards social service.
• PC Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point), Well Versed with e-mail.
  Open to go out to schools and institutes for presentations(if required)
• Need to be fluent in Kannada.
• Having Prior experience in Tele-counseling/Tele-calling would be an added advantage
