The National Law School Of India University (NLSIU), invites applications for two full-time roles in the University’s Communications Office for a period of one year (extendable). These positions will be based in the NLSIU campus in Bengaluru.
About the Department
The Communications Office at the National Law School of India University, manages all aspects of internal as well as external communications. The Communications Office
a) works towards the development and implementation of communication campaigns, including outreach, on-campus and off-campus events and social media;
b) coordinates with members of the local media and press, as well as (where applicable) other external stakeholders/organizations;
c) coordinates and implements communication activities to ensure all academic/research/co-curricular activities are represented in an accurate, relevant and timely manner;
d) works towards content creation for various channels of communication.
About the Role
This role will enable the candidate(s) to hone their skills in writing and designing for different media, creating content, organizing and executing communications plans/campaigns, while working with different teams and departments.
This role requires working closely with other colleagues of the Communications Office/team to –
Assist with content creation and implementation of communications plans – this will include writing about campus updates/stories, interviewing visitors and dignitaries, designing social media creatives and responding to online queries, etc.
Assist with updating data or information on the NLSIU website and social media handles.

Essential: Candidates with 0 to 2 years of work experience.
Desirable: Previous internship or related experience in marketing and public relations/communications/newsroom roles, is a plus.
