1. Art Facilitator 

Work Type: Full time – Work from Office – Mumbai

About the role:
MuSo is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Facilitator to join our team at MuSo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging art workshops, programs and activities for children aged 4-14 years.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Facilitation

• Deliver art courses and workshops during the week and weekends and activities for children, families and school groups at the Art Studio in the Make Lab
• Demonstrate proficiency in various art techniques, such as painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media and share your expertise and knowledge with workshop participants by encouraging and ensuring active engagement
• Conduct free and open art activities on the open atelier and/or Art Studio in the Make Lab for children, families and school groups
• Conduct short art workshops for early years in the Play Lab classroom assisted by a early years’ facilitator

Art Studio Management

• Create and manage inventory for art supplies in the art studio, conduct weekly audit of art supplies and place purchase requirements to Lead Maker on a weekly/ monthly basis
• Conduct regular equipment audit and ensure safe operation and maintenance of equipments in the art studio
• Ensure that all art activities adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
• Create a safe environment for participants by implementing proper safety measures and protocols.
• Manage opening/ closing of the art studio as well as set up and clean up

Workshop Development

• Assist in creating new workshops and projects that align with MuSo’s learning outcomes and cater to diverse age groups and skill levels

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of programs and their implementation and provide feedback reports to the program design team.

Capacity Development

• Attend regular in-house training sessions to upskill on visitor engagement techniques
• Stay updated on the various trends and best practices in informal learning spaces, facilitator training, attend conferences and professional development opportunities.

Leadership

• provide guidance and support to other facilitators and volunteers, fostering a culture of creativity, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years+ of experience in art education, or related roles, preferably working with children in a museum, educational, or creative setting.

Museum of Solutions

• Artistic Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in various art techniques such as painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media. Strong portfolio showcasing your own artistic work.
• Passion for Education: A genuine interest in working with children and fostering their creativity
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage and interact effectively with a diverse group of children

2. Early Years Facilitator

About the role:
MuSo is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Facilitator to lead and oversee our early years workshops at the Museum of Solutions. As a Senior Facilitator, you will play a vital role in creating engaging and educational experiences for young children, fostering their curiosity, creativity, and love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Facilitation

• Deliver interactive, age-appropriate workshops tailored to children aged 3 to 6 years old, with a focus on promoting critical thinking, exploration, and play-based learning at the Play Lab at MuSo
• Facilitate and deliver open atelier activities for toddlers and pre-schoolers, families and school groups.
• Facilitate and guide students during interaction with exhibits on the Play Floor as required
• Employ various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities among young children.
• Incorporate storytelling, hands-on activities, and sensory experiences to enhance children’s understanding and enjoyment.

Play Lab Classroom and Atelier Management

• Create and manage inventory for art supplies and materials in the Play Lab classroom, conduct weekly audit of supplies and place purchase requirements to the reporting manager on a weekly/ monthly basis.
• Ensure audit, safe operation and maintenance of learning manipulators on the Play atelier
• Ensure that all activities adhere to safety guidelines and regulations and implement proper safety measures and protocols during workshops.
• Manage opening/ closing of the classrooms and atelier as well as set up and clean up

Workshop Development

• Assist in creating and implementing engaging, age-appropriate workshops for early years that align with MuSo’s learning and engagement model through weekly meetings with the team to provide ideas, inputs and feedback for workshops

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of programs and their implementation and provide feedback reports to the program design team.

3. Museumof Solutions Facilitator 

Work Type Full Time – Work from Office- Mumbai

About the role
MuSo is seeking a Facilitator to plan and deliver all programs, with a focus on delivering design thinking courses, workshops, and activities for children, families, and school groups. The Facilitator will play a crucial role in creating an engaging and interactive learning environment within the Make Lab and open atelier.

Responsibilities
Program Facilitation:

Plan and deliver engaging workshops and activities rooted in design thinking for children of different age groups. Ensure alignment with MuSo’s educational objectives and the UNSDGs.

• Conduct free and open activities, demonstrations, in the open atelier and the tool bar of the Make Lab for children, families, and school groups.
• Guide and support children in developing critical skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, leadership as well as information literacy.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment among participants.
• Adapt workshop content and delivery techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

Make Lab Classroom and Open atelier Management:

• Manage inventory for supplies and materials in the open atelier and Make Lab classroom.
• Set up open atelier activities and oversee the tool bar.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities.
• Handle opening and closing duties of the Make Lab, maintaining a clean and organized space.

Workshop Development:

• Collaborate with the Learning Design team to brainstorm and create new workshops and projects catering to diverse age groups and skill levels.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and provide feedback for continuous improvement and provide feedback reports to the program design team.

Participate in in-house training sessions to enhance visitor engagement techniques.

Capacity Development:

• Stay updated on trends and best practices in informal learning spaces through conferences and professional development opportunities.
• Povide guidance and support to the junior team and volunteers, fostering a culture of creativity, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Leadership:

Assist with any other tasks assigned by the Museum Director or Director of Programs to support MuSo’s mission and initiatives.

4. Woodworking Facilitator 

Work Type: Full time – Work from Office – Mumbai

About the role:
MuSo is seeking a hands-on and creative Woodworking Facilitator, who encompasses a blend of technical skills, educational acumen, interpersonal qualities, and a genuine passion for fostering creativity and learning in children. You will be expected to deliver hands-on woodworking workshops, courses and activities that align with MuSo’s learning objectives and inspire children to explore, learn, and innovate.

Key Responsibilities:
