1. Art Facilitator
Work Type: Full time – Work from Office – Mumbai
About the role:
MuSo is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Facilitator to join our team at MuSo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging art workshops, programs and activities for children aged 4-14 years.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Facilitation
- Deliver art courses and workshops during the week and weekends and activities for children, families and school groups at the Art Studio in the Make Lab
- Demonstrate proficiency in various art techniques, such as painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media and share your expertise and knowledge with workshop participants by encouraging and ensuring active engagement
- Conduct free and open art activities on the open atelier and/or Art Studio in the Make Lab for children, families and school groups
- Conduct short art workshops for early years in the Play Lab classroom assisted by a early years’ facilitator
Art Studio Management
- Create and manage inventory for art supplies in the art studio, conduct weekly audit of art supplies and place purchase requirements to Lead Maker on a weekly/ monthly basis
- Conduct regular equipment audit and ensure safe operation and maintenance of equipments in the art studio
- Ensure that all art activities adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Create a safe environment for participants by implementing proper safety measures and protocols.
- Manage opening/ closing of the art studio as well as set up and clean up
Workshop Development
- Assist in creating new workshops and projects that align with MuSo’s learning outcomes and cater to diverse age groups and skill levels
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of programs and their implementation and provide feedback reports to the program design team.
Capacity Development
- Attend regular in-house training sessions to upskill on visitor engagement techniques
- Stay updated on the various trends and best practices in informal learning spaces, facilitator training, attend conferences and professional development opportunities.
Leadership
- provide guidance and support to other facilitators and volunteers, fostering a culture of creativity, continuous learning, and professional growth.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years+ of experience in art education, or related roles, preferably working with children in a museum, educational, or creative setting.
Museum of Solutions

As a Senior Facilitator, you will play a vital role in creating engaging and educational experiences for young children, fostering their curiosity, creativity, and love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Facilitation
- Deliver interactive, age-appropriate workshops tailored to children aged 3 to 6 years old, with a focus on promoting critical thinking, exploration, and play-based learning at the Play Lab at MuSo
- Facilitate and deliver open atelier activities for toddlers and pre-schoolers, families and school groups.
- Facilitate and guide students during interaction with exhibits on the Play Floor as required
- Employ various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities among young children.
- Incorporate storytelling, hands-on activities, and sensory experiences to enhance children’s understanding and enjoyment.
Play Lab Classroom and Atelier Management

The Facilitator will play a crucial role in creating an engaging and interactive learning environment within the Make Lab and open atelier.
Responsibilities
Program Facilitation:
Plan and deliver engaging workshops and activities rooted in design thinking for children of different age groups. Ensure alignment with MuSo’s educational objectives and the UNSDGs.
- Conduct free and open activities, demonstrations, in the open atelier and the tool bar of the Make Lab for children, families, and school groups.
- Guide and support children in developing critical skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, leadership as well as information literacy.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment among participants.
- Adapt workshop content and delivery techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Make Lab Classroom and Open atelier Management:
- Manage inventory for supplies and materials in the open atelier and Make Lab classroom.
