The M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) was established in 1988 as a not-for-profit trust. MSSRF was envisioned and founded by Professor M. S. Swaminathan- agriculture scientist and Magsasay award winner. The Foundation aims to accelerate use of modern science for agricultural and rural development for development and dissemination of technology to improve lives and livelihoods of tribal and rural communities. MSSRF follows a pro-poor, prowomen and pro-nature approach and applies appropriate science and technology options to address practical problems faced by rural populations in agriculture, food and nutrition.

The Foundation works in the areas of Natural Resource Management, Biodiversity, Biotechnology, Food, Health, Nutrition and Livelihood Security and Skill and Capacity Development using modern Information and Communication Technologies. Essential Qualification Master’s Degree in Finance/Commerce/Engineering; MBA preferred

Experience Candidate should have 8-10 years of work experience with at least 4 years in Project Management roles

Knowledge, Skills

  • Strong familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
  • Operational skills to report progress multiple projects
  • Understanding legal/contractual and financial documentation of the contract/project
  • Story collaborative; coaching & cross-functional skills
  • Effective communication skills to interact across the organization for enhanced collaboration.
  • Ability to report the crucial timelines of multiple projects in alignment with donor/funder’s requirements
  • Financial Acumen

Job Description The PMO is a key leadership position for all project related information for the Foundation and the Point of Contact for all Project Dashboard & Analytics.

The job includes providing proactive advisory information to PIs with strong cross functional coordination and collaboration.

Major Actionable activities include:

  • Release monthly dash board summary for all the running projects on the performance to centre heads and senior leadership teams
  • Provide data on alignment of project status with project financials with respect to project deliverables.
  • Flag projects requiring Special Reviews, based on the risk level on financial and HR related issues
  • Maintaining ERP systems updated for all the project information timely
  •  Release monthly Review Schedules for all the running projects.
  •  Ensure alignment to project financials and ground systems Compliance, Reporting & Training
  • Adherence to Project management Tools
  • Timely dashboard reporting of actual vs targets

Remuneration: Negotiable; based on the qualification and experience
