Job Description:
We are looking for a high-quality professional to join with one of our ongoing with Govt. of Gujarat and World Bank project to provide relevant macro and micro economic information for the purpose of the project. They will contribute to strategic thinking and implementation/ measurement plans. Some of the key/specific responsibilities are:

Role

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support to the SRESTHA Gujarat PMU through the Monitoring and Evaluation wing to facilitate implementation of various activities and achieving the objectives defined for SRESTHA Gujarat Project.
  • To develop and monitor the record-keeping and reporting mechanism for core project activities and indicators at the point of service provision.
  • Develop monitoring tools and checklists pertaining to SRESTHA Gujarat program and support in strengthening routine monitoring and supervision.
  • To provide technical support in developing a system to collect, compile and manage all the data related to project activities and project indicators at the PMU.
  • To assist in the process of determining the methods for monitoring the achievement of results for the P for R framework SRESTHA Gujarat project.
  • To assist in the process of determining the methods for evaluating the achievement of results for the P for R framework SRESTHA Gujarat project.
  • To ensure timely access to data in order to prepare reports, in coordination with other wings of PMU.
  • To assist in data analysis and report writing, in coordination with other wings of PMU.
  • To facilitate workshops, meetings, seminars with stakeholders.
  • Conduct periodic field visits to districts for monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of activities in the districts, identify implementation challenges and support in charting appropriate solutions.
  • Support and ensure timely data recording, report preparation and information dissemination in coordination with the PMU, DoHFW and other departments, the World Bank and other stakeholders.
  • Undertake any other activities / tasks as assigned by the Member Secretary, SRESTHA Gujarat.
  • Field Visits: Job will be requiring to field visit for 10-15 days in a month.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBBS + MD (Community Medicine/PSM) from recognized university with registration in Medical Council + 10 years’ experience in Public health- preferably on M&E aspects.
  • Must have experience working with National / State Govt.
  • Must be conversant with use of Computer, internet and online working
  • Must be possessing good communication skills in English & Gujarati/Hindi
  • Must be possessing good official and technical drafting skills
  • Must be conversant with use of basic statistical analytical software
