About the position:

We’re looking for an outstanding Monitoring and Evaluation Manager who would be responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing the monitoring and evaluation, research and learning framework of all projects. The M&E Manager will report to the Director M&E and support in coordination and supervision in collaboration with the Sr.Manager MLE across different projects, timelines and requirements  of the organization to ensure the successful evidence generation for the organization across all the  projects. The M&E Manager will be developing a project specific TOC and MLE framework and implement them to improve the qualitative and quantitative evidence gathered by the Project. He/she will also provide technical assistance to our internal team members regarding evidence required for proposal development and other data requirement. For this he/she will put necessary data structures in place. The person so be expert in writing reports and independent write papers and support the team for finalizing all research outcome related deliverables.

Requirements

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Manage the team to ensure the following activities are conducted for the successful monitoring and evaluation of programs

Development:

• Develop project log frames, particularly in the areas of performance indicators and their measurement for various project
• Quicky prepare the reports and the manuscripts as per the KPIs to fulfil the evidence generation needs of the MLE team as per the organization strategy
• Manage project review, impact assessment, final evaluation etc.
• Quickly analyse the monitoring and evaluation data generated by the organization to deliver the necessary materials for organizational evidence-based communication material.

Implementation:

• Support in periodical review the quality of data collected in the project; analyse and aggregate findings
• Manage collection of  data on a regular basis (mind-term, annual) to measure achievement against the performance indicators.
• Manage reporting on quality and accurate indicators as per the MLE framework.
• Identify lessons learned and develop case studies to capture qualitative outputs of the project. Provide advice to the project manager on improving project performance using M&E findings.
• Manage the annual assessment of each project, analyse and report findings
• Review and update Programs org dashboard on a monthly basis

Communication:

• Support in producing reports on M&E findings and prepare presentations based on M&E data as required.
• Support in report preparation for donors on key metrics progress and evaluation of projects
• Provide the Project Manager with management information she/he may require.
• Check that monitoring data is discussed in appropriate forums and in a timely fashion in terms of implications for future action. If necessary, create such discussions to fill any gap.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Sr. Manager, the Director of MLE and the CEO.

Role Specifications:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters in Public Health, Demography, Bio-statistics, Health Economics.
• Experience working in a public health or digital health space for at least 3 years
• Prior experience in an M&E position in some for on a supervision role for at least 1 year
• Prior experience in manager role on M&E is prefered

• You have excellent writing skills for reporting, manuscript and evidence based communication document for various types of audiences.
• Have excellent analytical skills for evidence generation, quality assurance and monitoring purpose
