JOB PROFILE
You will be a vital member of a small, versatile fundraising and development team that works closely with the Program Heads and Management Team of ISPP. You will be responsible for supporting the development of innovative strategies to secure funding from Corporations, Foundations, Trusts, other institutions and high net-worth individuals. You will be expected to manage the donor management ecosystem, including managing the donor database and developing funding proposals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Develop a deep understanding of the programmatic areas of ISPP;
- Work collaboratively with the Development team, other fundraising staff and Heads of Program teams to implement fundraising strategies;
- Seek new funding opportunities accordingly;
- Support in the development of new donors. Build relationships with Trusts,
- Foundations, institutional donors, high profile and high net worth individuals;
- Manage appeals from the conceptualisation stage to audience targeting, messaging, thanking, and reporting;
- Prepare customised narrative reports as per donor reporting timelines for retention of donors;
- Organise offline and online events and to develop and manage relationships with donors;
- Donor database management.
- Create donor/stakeholder-oriented marketing collaterals like Newsletters, brochures, memorabilia, etc.

- Excellent networking skills to represent the organisation at high-profile events with high net-worth individuals, Corporations, Foundations, Trusts, Multilateral Organisations and Government Offices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including donors, staff, board members, and external partners.
- Innovation skills: ideate and implement new ideas to achieve fundraising targets.
- Research skills, including identifying and monitoring potential funders and their actions in the public space
- Excellent organisational skills, including managing a complex, varied workload and planning and prioritising tasks.
- Expert-level written and verbal communication skills to deal effectively, efficiently and appropriately with internal and external audiences;
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Budget management skills are needed to work effectively with limited resources.
- Good IT skills, proficient with MS Office.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years of prior work experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of fundraising practices, codes of conduct and legislation.
- Excellent understanding of mid and high-value fundraising programmes.
- Degree level education.
Desirable
Experience in digital fundraising techniques.
COMPENSATION
Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month commensurate with experience.
