About Job:
Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) is seeking professionals who can play a pivotal  role in the election campaigns and participatory democracy. Data analytics has established itself as an essential aspect of political campaigns. In I-PAC, the Data  Analytics team works on electoral analysis, survey analysis, behavioral analysis, and  sentiment analysis to identify the key focus areas and improve the campaign efficiencies with data backed insights. Profile Data Analytics

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze unstructured data sets including reviewing data for completeness and consistency and make recommendations
  • Utilize strategic and analytical orientation coupled with exceptional communication skills, a positive can-do attitude and highly developed collaborative nature to provide the required strategy primers
  • Handle large sets of data with reasonable proficiency and classify unstructured problems into logical buckets
  • Ability to analyze grassroots intel, develop insights and present an executable plan
  • Coordinate with other teams at I-PAC and provide necessary strategic inputs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher; or be enrolled in a similar course from a reputed institute
  • 1 years of working experience in management consulting, development sector, Governance, or corporate strategy role within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, solving complex problems on an everyday basis, have reasonable proficiency in handling large sets of data and the tenacity to survive tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives
  • Excellent research and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of MS Excel/ MS- Word is mandatory
  • Must have a laptop and a smartphone with a working internet connection for ease of working remotely
  • Ability to read and write in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in sentiment and NLP using information from digital platforms
  • Experience in analyzing electoral or survey datasets
