Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) is the platform of choice for students and young professionals to participate in and make meaningful contribution to political affairs and governance of the country, without necessarily being part of a political party. Started as Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG) in 2013, I-PAC has brought some of the best minds from diverse academic and professional backgrounds together and provided them with a unique opportunity to become a part of the election process and influence policy making in India. I-PAC works with visionary leaders with a proven track record. In the process, the group helps them set a citizen-centric agenda and partners with them to conceptualise & implement the most effective methods of taking it to the public and gathering mass support.

- Gather ground level political information through phone calls and in-depth-interviews. Source grassroot level insights on local civic issues and aspirations.
Responsibilities:
- I-PAC is looking for dynamic go-getters who thrive in a high-octane fast-paced work environment to take up the role of executive
- Keep an active tab on all the key political and government development in the State’s and Nation’s politics to devise campaign and electoral strategies
- Build networks with politically aware individuals and political stakeholders to periodically and sustainably gather nuanced information
- Do the rigorous research groundwork to define the course of all key decisions during the election campaign
- Design and develop well investigated reports for states, assemblies and parliamentary constituencies with a keen inquisitive approach towards the past and current political scenarios of the county/various states
- Perform extensive archival and historical research to dwell deeper into the regional and national political narratives with a more contextualized lens
- Utilize probing, fact-finding and analytical orientation couple with exceptional communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, and highly developed collaborative nature to provide the required strategy primers
- Use primary and secondary research methods to provide background to an electoral strategy and political speeches of the leaders at different levels
- Coordinate with other teams at I-PAC and various stakeholders to provide necessary strategic
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fulltime Graduate degree preferably in Humanities / Social Science / Political Science / Journalism / Public Policy / Research Background.
- Must possess decent communication skills – both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Awareness about political developments across the country.
- Fluency in English and Hindi
