Indian Institute of Management Nagpur started its journey in the year 2015 under the mentorship of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. The Institute’s first batch of Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management commenced on the 23rd of July 2015.

IIM Nagpur shifted to its new 132-acre campus, situated at MIHAN, Nagpur, Maharashtra, in November 2021.

IIM Nagpur, being a new generation IIM, aims to create value-driven leaders, global managers, and entrepreneurs with strong conceptual foundations and analytical approach to help them be the best in whichever field they choose. The aim is to innovatively address the needs of a modern India, and connecting aspirations and realities to attain benchmarks that are respected internationally. IIM Nagpur is gradually increasing its portfolio of activities to fulfill these objectives.

The institute’s curriculum has been designed by experts from the field of management education. The learning process here helps the students connect to the industry and other stakeholders in a multidimensional way. A significant feature of IIMN is the Field Immersion Module which helps the students to experience real-life problems and come up with practical solutions for them.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Full time Post – Graduation preferably in Management.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience across industry and academia including Business development, Academic activities and Corporate training activities.
  • Experience in end to end programme delivery and coordination.
  • Exposure of Marketing & Co-ordinating Executive education programs/Concept selling is desirable.
  • Experience at IIMs/IITs/NITs or any other premiere Institution is desirable.

Job Profile:

Business Development and Relationship Management –

§  Identifying opportunities & prospects, Liaison with industry and L&D leaders in different target areas, Marketing of customized and open enrolment programmes.

§  Collaborate with senior leaders of the corporate sector, industry and government to assess training requirements, converting the same into relevant programme design and delivery.

§  Managing and building relationships and partnerships with the existing clientele.

§  Achieving business targets set by the institute.

Programme development –

§  Support to Chairperson EEP for planning, design & development of customized and open enrolment programmes.

§  Help the institute prepare for emerging needs of the industry.

§  In depth Industry analysis for feedback on courses creation.

Operational Execution –

§  End to end programme management for efficient delivery of the EEP to ensure a professional experience for the participants

§  Defining and developing performance metrices for the Executive Education for the effectiveness and efficiency.

§  Developing and managing teams and coordinating with all the departments of the institute for execution of the programmes.

§  Ensure recognition and branding of Executive education in the industry and other institutions.

§  Administrative In-charge of EE activities.

§  Setting up and expansion of a professional EEP activities centre.

Key Skills:

  • Good understanding of preparation of proposals & presentations.
  • Development of professional programme design documents.
  • Business correspondence.
  • Highly professional marketing and client management skills including digital marketing tools.
  • A good understanding of learning & development area of industry, government and corporate sector.
  • Excellent network with HR / Training departments of corporate and PSUs.
  • Creating effective outreach by conducting events and information seminars/webinars for potential client connect.

Age: Minimum 30 Years

Salary & Benefits: Consolidated salary commensurate with qualification and experience.

Reporting: To Chairperson Executive Education

Contract: Selected candidate will be offered a fixed term appointment initially for a period of Two years. The contract is extendable further on satisfactory performance during this period.
