HPC will provide a jumpstart platform to Life Sciences companies and help companies move-up the value chain.

ROLE OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for efficient administration of the organisation, advising the CEO and senior management on corporate governance matters and ensuring compliance with secretarial, statutory and regulatory requirements of the organisation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assist the senior management and CEO in key administrative decisions, policies, regulatory issues and conduct of the affairs of the organisation
  • Responsible in complying with corporate governance and secretarial standards
  • Assisting in projects (as maybe required) related to ongoing legal entity framework/oversight and related work-streams
  • Preparation of agendas for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs) and follow up on action points, draft resolutions, lodge required forms and annual returns with appropriate departments
  • Provide legal, financial, and/or strategic advice
  • Handle correspondence, collate database and communicate decisions to relevant company stakeholders
  • Liaise with external regulators, advisers such as lawyers and auditors
  • Manage and monitor organisations policies, pension scheme, contractual agreements of employees and suppliers

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in accountancy/finance/management from Premier Institute (Background in Law preferred)

Minimum Experience:

At least 6-7 years’ work experience as Company Secretary/Accounting/ Finance

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

  • Legal and commercial awareness expert
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Discretion while handling confidential matters
  • Problem-solving approach and strong decision making
  • Knowledge of Life Sciences sector (preferred)
  • Experience of working with state and central government (preferred)
  • Excellent Research and Communication skills
