HelpAge India is secular, not-for-profit organization registered under the Societies’​ Registration Act of 1860. We were set up in 1978, and since then have been raising resources to protect the rights of India’s elderly and provide relief to them through various interventions. We voice the needs of India’s 100 million+ “grey”​ population, and directly impact the lives of many elders through our services each year. We advocate with national & local government to bring about policy that is beneficial to the elderly. We make society aware of the concerns of the aged and promote better understanding of ageing issues. We help the elderly become aware of their own rights so that they get their due and are able to play an active role in society.

National Coordinator (Health)HelpAge India is now looking for National Coordinator for its prestigious Mobile Health Care Programme. The position is based out of New Delhi. Incumbent will be directly reporting to Mission Head (Health).

Responsibilities:

  • Project development, planning and implementation, which includes coordinating on day to day basis with the field teams and state team for the smooth implementation of the program.
  • Monitoring the projects regularly, which includes monitoring their budgets, activities and performance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders including donors for effective project implementation.
  • Reviewing and analyzing the reports and highlight the issues for senior management decision.
  • Making project report for both internal and external use.
  • Liaise and network with Government / CSR partners/ other NGOs
  • Organize training programmes for building capacity of MHU program staff.
  • To develop new proposals with detailed budgeting

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Health or related subjects /Social science.
  • MSW / MHA / MPH / PG in Social Science will be preferred.
  • With at least 12 – 14 years of experience of managing a large programme.
  • Should have excellent communication skills both written as well as oral.
  • Should have good presentation, PR and interpersonal skills.
  • Should be computer savvy.
  • Should be sensitive to the cause of the organization.
  • Demonstrates an ability to take initiative and should be self-driven and work well within a team.
  • Emoluments will be commensurate with skills and in line with those in the sector.
