Teacher – Bridge Program – Gubbachi Learning Community

Gubbachi Learning Community is an 8 year old NGO working towards the educational inclusion of marginalised children. We are looking for committed Full-time Teachers to teach an English-medium Curriculum towards an Open Schooling Certification for First Generation Learners from migrant families. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach foundational literacy and numeracy, and EVS to out of school children.
• Is able to handle mixed level groups.
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching aids on time.
• Track child progress and ensure remedials where necessary.
• Actively participate in Parent-Teacher meetings to provide feedback on the progress of the child to the parents.
• Love working with children and love teaching.
• Motivate and enthuse children.
• Communicate with children in a respectful and positive manner.
• Be flexible, adaptable to changes and proactive.
• A quick and keen learner

Candidate must be:

• A graduate with or without a B.Ed.
• A Postgraduate in Education or Montessori certified and experienced
• At Least 2 years teaching experience.
• Fluent in reading – writing – spoken English.
• Must have a firm grasp on academic teaching of English OR Math.
• Must possess communicative skills in Hindi.
