What is the TA Service Representative for Customer Services group responsible for?

This job requires and individual to handle phone calls, take care of walk-ins, receive and report commercial transactions, do first level NIGO checks for all Commercial and Non-Commercial transactions, and perform all other support and regulatory functions that are required at an AMC.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a TA Service Representative?

  • Initial processing of investor applications at the branch, liaising with the back office and generating reports at the branch
  • Generating account statements and cross checking the same. Handling calls pertaining to clarifications of processed transactions.
  • Dispatching redemption, compensation payments or rejection letters and other correspondence to investors and commission payments to distributors within the prescribed timelines.
  • Tallying of the time stamping log book. Attending department meetings. Project work, personal development and performance review

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

Education and Experience

Graduate, preferably in the commerce/ accounting / finance background, proficient in English and numerate.

Experience:

Required:

  • PC knowledge including use of Microsoft Office products, to include Excel and Word skills
  • Administrative and time management skills
  • Ability to interact with team members
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Model good work habits and appropriate use of procedures and controls

Preferred:

  • Previous branch / transactions processing experience
  • Knowledge of Indian mutual funds and regulations involved therein

Licenses and Certifications 

  • AMFI CERTIFIED
