eVidyaloka Trust As a not for profit organisation registered under the Trusts act, the aim of eVidyaloka is to transform the rural educational landscape of India. The eVidyaloka model addresses the top two chronic challenges hampering education in rural parts of our country – teacher shortage and teaching quality. Leveraging technology, it brings together an ever-growing network of global volunteers and an ecosystem of local community partners to provide quality education to students in rural and remote parts of the nation. eVidyaloka currently focuses on children in the age group of 10-14 (5th to 8th grade) and delivers enriching learning experiences in their native languages through multi-modal programs. It is a delivery model which is scalable, replicable and sustainable, developed with a strong conviction in the empowerment of rural communities through equity in education. As of today, we run 310 digital schools and 265 digital classrooms across 11 states in India. With a 4000 strong network of passionate volunteers from across the glove, we have benefitted over 25 lac (2.5 mn) students by delivering over a million child learning hours.

1. Executive/ Senior Executive – Donor Relations Management (DRM)

Reporting To Head – Donor Relations

Job Purpose eVidyaloka is a not-for-profit organization that focuses on transforming the educational landscape of rural India. Registered under the Trusts Act, the organization creates digital classrooms for children in remote villages, with the support of local communities and Volunteer Teachers from across the globe The purpose of this role is to have a proactive and sustained engagement with prospective and current donors, including CSR foundations, commercial enterprises and high net worth individuals.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Relationship Management with Key Donors

  • Oversight: Cultivate strong relationships with donors, understanding their philanthropic goals.
  • Understanding Donors: Research donors comprehensively to grasp their priorities.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly report on program progress and fund utilization.

2. Communication

  • Managing Updates: Implement communication strategies, ensuring donors are informed.
  • Documentation: Prepare templates and documentation for eVidyaloka/Key donors.

3. Collaboration

  • Implementing Projects: Collaborate with internal and external teams for project efficiency.
  • Tracking Opportunities: Identify funding opportunities and maintain a donor pipeline.

Skills Required ● 0-2 years of work experience.

● Excellent Written and Spoken English Skills.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva.
● Experience in preparing and presenting reports/communication collaterals to stakeholders.
● Corporate Communications preferable – if any experience, in a similar sector in fundraising or
a client-facing/key account management role in another industry.

2. Executive/ Senior Executive – Marketing and Communications

Job Purpose eVidyaloka is a not-for-profit organization that focuses on transforming the educational landscape of
rural India. Registered under the Trusts Act, the organization creates digital classrooms for children in
remote villages, with the support of local communities and Volunteer Teachers from across the globe
The main responsibility of this role involves designing posters, creating videos, and critically reviewing
marketing collaterals.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Interfacing with various teams on a daily basis
2. Writing communication pieces
3. Understanding collateral requirements and catering to it
4. Making basic posters.
5. Making basic videos.
6. Reviewing collaterals and content for brand consistency.
7. Curating stories for the general audience for brand building.
8. Engaging with Social media audience.
9. Reporting on Social Media/Campaign performance.
10. Being hands-on for execution of events of all scales.

Skills Required

  • Strong English language skills – verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Creative storytelling.
  • Data Analysis.
  • Well versed with basic computer applications : MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint.

3. Executive – Operations

Reporting to Head – Operations

Job Purpose eVidyaloka’s core value proposition is to mobilize volunteers from the community as teachers and connect with rural villages of India. eVidyaloka programs have helped educate millions of children in rural areas across 622 schools from 14 states of India with the support of over 61,000 registered volunteers. However, there are many more children across the country who are at risk of never returning to formal education.

This role, essentially, will be accountable in making the above happen and be ready to scale.

  • Work with Head Operations to outline the specific steps to onboard students and enable learning on the platform.
  • Work to streamline the class delivery in the digital classrooms set up by the partners.
  • Use excel, a reporting tool to analyze data and generate business reports.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Support Field Resource of the assigned state to enroll students, create courses and sessions for delivery.
  • Manage the volunteer requirements for the courses in the required regional language and orient the volunteers about their role.
  • Collaborate with the Content Team and get the appropriate contents (videos and worksheets) for the Field Resources to run their digital schools.
  • Monitor the sessions conducted through video classes and the live interactive classes by volunteer teachers.
  • Capture feedback from the Field Resources on the sessions conducted by volunteer teachers.
  • Monitor the student enrolment under the Field Resource on Jupiter (eVidyaloka tech platform).
  • Collaborate closely with partners and engage appropriately.
  • Conduct weekly / monthly meetings with volunteers and field teams.

Individual Performance Measure

1. Relationship with the Field Resources.
2. Strategize and support the delivery of classes and timely updating of data on the portal.

Qualification & Experience

  • Education: Graduate/Post Graduate
  • Experience : 0 to 2 years in areas that involve close interaction with people, outside organizational boundaries, execution, social engagement, etc
