By leveraging the Government’s existing investment in schools and by engaging with a huge base of community volunteers, Educate Girls helps to identify, enroll and retain out-of-school girls and to improve foundational skills in literacy and numeracy for all children (both girls and boys). We are currently setting up Project management unit in collaboration with Dept. of Basic education, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. A Special Project team unit will be responsible for Support the Government Of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP) In the Implementation of the Operation Kayakalp Program.

Position Overview:
We are looking for an innovative Civil Engineer to design, develop and supervision of civil projects of the physically and Eco-friendly from conception through to completion. You will be conducting land surveys, allocating resources, supervising multidisciplinary construction teams, and inspecting completed construction projects.

Position Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale
  construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
• Conduct on site inspection and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Handle over the resulting structures and services for use
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver
  technical files and other technical documentation as required.

Desired Incumbent Profile:

Preferred Education Background:

• B.Tech/B.E degree in civil engineering or related field from reputed Institute.

Preferred Work Experience:

• 5- 10 years experienced civil engineer should handle site independently who is well versed in on-site execution with knowledge of Autocad software, Site level
  documentation such as RFIs, BOQs of any civil work, Bar Bending Schedules,
• A minimum of 3-5 years of industry knowledge and 2-3 years’ experience with
  government civil work may be strongly desired.

Preferred Skill Set:

• Familiarity with design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar software.
• Knowledge of map creation software and photo imaging software.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in
  calculations and design.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working
  on one project.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects at a time.
