partnerships, high impact solutions and thought leadership. We have a presence in 27 Indian states and 2 Union
Territories. Our approach to address these deep-rooted barriers:

• Partnerships approach to draw additional resources, a vast pool of diverse expertise, and innovations to tackle a social sector problem at scale
• Platform approach to influence systemic transformation through an alliance of partners for “scalable learning” by leveraging a pool of diverse resources to address a single problem with speed

Digital Bharat Collaborative (DBC), a part of Piramal Foundation, supports the government to transform the public healthcare system by building a robust digital delivery platform that ensures availability and accessibility of quality healthcare for all. Through this, we seek to enhance experiences of citizens in accessing government health services at the last mile.

Experience
16-20 years’ experience with bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as IT, computer science, Software engineering is required (Social or Govt related experience will be preferred)

About Project:
Tech4Gov (Technology for Government) team in Piramal Foundation creates solutions to the various needs of the
government. It follows the BOT (Build, Operate and Transfer ) model with the government stakeholders by assisting them in various phases including design, develop, deploy and support the Govt organisations. We thus enhance the capacity of the Govt institutions to conceptualise, create, implement and maintain technical solutions on their own.

Our vision is to develop and scale Digital Public Goods to solve the most prominent and persistent problems faced by the governments in service delivery to the citizenry.

We have partnered with various organisations with complementary skills-sets and identified some open source tools and platforms to create the DPGs mentioned above. DIGIT is one such platform which is being heavily used to create various solutions for govt. problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine organization needs and identify system specifications.
• Analyze the needs of large systems and break them down into smaller manageable parts.
• Technology Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for the development and implementation of the solution. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Coding Guidelines and Standards: Establish coding guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and
  maintainability of the codebase. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
• Oversee development and implementation of assigned programs and guide teammates.
• Scalability and Performance: Design the system architecture with scalability and performance in mind to handle current and future Population Scale loads. Optimize and tune the system for optimal performance.
• Ensure that systems satisfy quality standards and procedures outlined by the MiETY.
• Work with senior IT personnel to devise plans for future IT requirements of the organization.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to provide elegant and efficient design for the solutions to Population Scale Problems such as Health,
  Sanitation, Education etc.
• Technically creative and open-minded
• Ability to think strategically about technology to enable seamless and affordable implementations
• Thorough understanding of various open source tools and their integrations.
• Familiarity with programming languages, operating systems, and Office software.
• Advanced project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience of Working in a Govt environment will be valued.
• Ability to see big-picture designs from basic specifications.

Travel: This role will require travel (Local and outstation) and need based visits to state health society, health
department, district govt office locations for meetings, implementations and for meetings with team members.
